This is Grace discussing her experience with Mind FORWARD.

What is Mind FORWARD?

In short, it is 'single-session' therapy.

Funded through the Wellbeing Network, Mind Forward is a single-issue therapy model that provides 'help at the point of need' without barriers to access. Clients are seen quickly (often within 2 weeks from point of referral) and are not ‘screened’ or excluded from being able to experience a therapy session in a timely manner.

While this initiative is at risk due to cuts, it is a great example of the innovative approaches to mental health support that exist within the sector!

That means 1,500 people took steps to improve their mental health, to get involved with events, to use our Psychological Therapies service, and to connect with others in the Network.
