A bit of history helps to understand why we believe in and support the legal growth of Cannabis.
Up to the 1940s, Italy was one of the largest producers of h**p. After the war and the move towards synthetic fibres, the cultivation of h**p plummeted. Prohibition laws in the United States led to the Italian government’s ban of h**p and the move towards years of monocultural wheat cultivation which resulted in soil erosion and the risk of making the land infertile.
In 2016 h**p cultivation in Italy became legal in order to help a crop that was once widely cultivated in the country.
