Life can feel overwhelming, but Foundations of Yoga for Stress Relief is here to help you reclaim calm and balance.
⭐️ This four-week beginner-friendly journey combines gentle Yoga, mindful breathing and restorative poses from Yoga Therapy for Anxiety and Yoga Psychology to help you unwind and recharge.

Why it works:

1️⃣ Release tension. Stretch and mobilise tight shoulders, stiff hips and achy backs, so you can let go of both physical and emotional tension and even start sleeping better.

2️⃣ Improve focus and mindfulness. The breathing techniques teach you how to reset your mind from racing thoughts, making this a practical tool for navigating daily stress.

3️⃣ Feel energised and refreshed. Gentle flows wake up your body and mind without leaving you drained, perfect to start your day on the right foot or to unwind in the evening.

👉 If you are ready to let go of stress and embrace ease, this course is for you.

Here are some myths, which might be holding you back.

Myth 1: Pregnant women should avoid intense exercise.
Truth: With your doctor’s approval, moderate-to-high intensity workouts are safe when kept within a specific threshold of perceived effort and heart rate.

Myth 2: Core exercises are dangerous.
Truth: Safe core work strengthens your pelvic floor and supports your growing belly.

Myth 3: Lifting weights is unsafe.
Truth: Strength training not only supports a healthy pregnancy but also prepares you for labor and postpartum recovery!

Myth 4: Exercise can cause early labor.
Truth: There is no evidence linking exercise to early labor. In fact, it can reduce complications and help make labor smoother.

Myth 5: Only gentle Yoga is safe during pregnancy.
Truth: Unless you have received a different medical advice, Dynamic Yoga with adaptations can build strength and stamina, helping you better handle labor and recovery.

Pregnancy is not the time to stop moving, it is the time to move smarter! 💪

🚫 Think pregnant people should only stick to gentle Yoga focused on relaxation and stretching? Let’s bust the myth!
✨ While gentle Yoga is fantastic for calming the mind and body, incorporating dynamic and strength-focused practices can significantly enhance your stamina and resilience for childbirth.

Why does strength matter during pregnancy?
💪 It builds endurance for labour, improves flexibility and body awareness, and prepares your body for the physical demands of motherhood.
Prenatal Vinyasa Yoga is a great way to strengthen your legs and core, ensuring your body is ready for the endurance required during labor. Research shows that active women often experience shorter labors and fewer complications!

Scared of not knowing how to safely adapt your Vinyasa practice in pregnancy?

🚫 Can exercise cause early labour or complications during pregnancy!
✨ The truth is that when done safely and under medical supervision, exercise is not just safe, it can be incredibly beneficial for you and your baby!

Research shows no evidence linking exercise to miscarriage or premature birth. In fact, staying active can actually shorten labor and make it less complicated! Regular physical activity reduces the risks of conditions like gestational diabetes and high blood pressure, leading to better overall birth outcomes.

Also, people who stay active during pregnancy often experience a lower risk of preterm birth and greater overall physical and mental wellbeing. Whether it is gentle Yoga, Pilates, or even a brisk walking, regular exercise helps your body prepare for the months ahead, filling you with feel-good hormones and giving you the strength a mum to be needs.🥰

Don’t fear exercise, embrace it!
