WREATH MAKING & RESTORE PRACTISE!

Joking Roisin & Nataliya for a magical evening of creativity and calm as we celebrate the festive season together.

You’ll begin by creating your own beautiful Christmas wreath for your front door, guided by the wonderful florist Roisin, who will show you how to weave natural evergreens, berries, and festive touches into a design that’s uniquely yours.

To help you slip fully into the Christmas spirit, we’ll serve non-alcoholic mulled wine as you craft — warming, spiced, and perfectly seasonal.

We’ll then transition into a deeply relaxing restorative yoga practice led by Nataliya, using long-held supported postures to calm the nervous system, release tension, and create space for deep rest and renewal. With plenty of props, gentle guidance, and time to settle, this practice offers the opportunity to completely switch off and be held — the perfect reset in the midst of a busy season.

A truly lovely evening to slow down, connect, and welcome the festive season with heart and creativity.

Curious how yoga philosophy shows up in your practice?

We have a really special offering for you this month…

Join Ayesha on Sunday 30 November, 11am - 1pm, for a thoughtful workshop exploring Ahimsa - the first of the Yamas from the Eight Limbs of Yoga. Often translated as compassion or non-violence, Ahimsa invites us to move through the world (and our practice) with greater awareness, kindness, and care.

Through a blend of discussion and physical practice, Ayesha will guide you in translating this ancient teaching into the language of asana - exploring how compassion can shape the way we move, breathe and relate to ourselves and others.

We’ll close with an open conversation led by Ayesha and Hedley, offering space to reflect and share how we can embody yoga more fully both on and off the mat.

A Forrest Yoga & Sound Journey
Sunday 16th November @ 1pm

Join Nataliya Potopalska & Jaime Tanna for a unique experience: a one-of-a-kind yoga hip opening practice combined with live sound healing.

Nataliya will be leading a grounded, balanced Forrest yoga practice through the physical and emotional body, while Jaime (sound practitioner) will be weaving a rich tapestry of sound using instruments like the Shamanic Drum (heartbeat), Didgeridoos (male and female), Handpan, and crystal and Tibetan singing bowls.

During this Forrest Yoga & Sound Journey you will be invited to reconnect with Your body and build inner strength.
Have you ever noticed how your body holds tension or sometimes feels distant and disconnected?

This workshop explores how our muscles reflect not just physical habits, but emotional patterns and life experiences. We’ll look at how muscles respond in three main ways:
• Balanced – present and available for action
• Tense (hyper response) – holding back or controlling
• Low energy (hyporesponse) – lacking tone or feeling shut down
These patterns often form as ways of coping with stress or past experiences and they can affect how we move, feel, and connect with ourselves.

Through Forrest yoga, slow movement, long holds and simple awareness practices, you’ll learn how to:
• Notice where your body is holding or collapsing
• Gently activate or release energy in your muscles
• Build presence and strength from the inside out
• Support your nervous system through mindful movement
This is a space to meet your body with compassion and curiosity - not to fix, but to feel. No experience needed. All are welcome.

A Journey to Handstand
Sunday 9th November, 2-4pm!

Ever dreamed of standing on your hands? This workshop will guide you through the foundations of Handstand (Adho Mukha Vrksasana) in a safe, supportive, and playful way.

We’ll begin with a 45 minutes practise designed to support your handstand practise - to build strength, open the shoulders and wrists, and prepare the body for balance. Step by step, you’ll explore drills, techniques, and progressions that make handstands more accessible—whether it’s your very first attempt or you’re working towards finding a moment of stillness upside down.

With plenty of variations, props, and guidance, you’ll be encouraged to practice at your own pace. Expect to build strength, boost confidence, and maybe even surprise yourself as you flip your perspective and discover the joy of balancing on your hands.

Why Invert?

A fresh perspective – Inversions like Handstand literally turn the world upside down shifting our viewpoint helps us challenge old patterns of thinking (samskaras) and see life with new clarity.

Facing fear with courage – Standing on our hands brings up fear (of falling, failing, losing control). Yoga teaches us to meet fear with presence and courage (abhyasa – consistent practice, and vairagya – non-attachment). The practice becomes a way to build resilience and inner strength.

Building tapas (discipline) – Mastery doesn’t come overnight. Handstand requires patience, practice, and perseverance, reflecting the yogic principle of tapas—the heat and effort that transform us over time.

Connection of body and mind – Balancing upside down demands deep focus and awareness of breath, alignment, and subtle shifts. This cultivates dharana (concentration), one of the steps on the yogic path.
