Come to the GROW Christmas Party with us! 🎄🍪

Last week, GROW® Group team members travelled in from across the UK and the world. We shared a beautiful lunch, took on a very serious (and very fun) spy mission game, enjoyed plenty of drinks, and had the chance to properly catch up.

It was the perfect moment to reflect on just how fantastic and rewarding this year has been. We are incredibly proud of the whole team, and grateful for the people who make GROW what it is.

On the 3rd of December, the International Day of Persons with Disabilities invites us to listen, learn, and appreciate the diverse experiences that shape the journeys of disabled people.

Some might have conditions that are visible, whilst others we may not be able to see. Approaching the experiences of others with curiosity, empathy and openness helps us all better understand and appreciate the stories they choose to share 💙

🇫🇷 Big news from France! Plans are in motion to fully integrate MC into the national healthcare system — covering oils, capsules, and vaporisers.
 
The proposed regulations have already cleared the EU’s required review period and are now with the Conseil d’État (State Council) for final legal checks. If approved, this could mark a major milestone in patient access across the country 🌱

Before the 30th of June, make sure to do your bit to oppose these benefit changes in the U.K. 🇬🇧

The Welfare bill would result in wide scale negative impact for disabled people, with MC patients being affected as many use PIP to pay for treatments. Even with the proposed changes, this bill may result in deaths that could have been prevented.

PIP is a disability benefit which helps individuals with the extra costs associated with their disability, regardless of whether they are employed or not 🙏

have calculated the average household cost associated with disability in the U.K., which is £1,010 per month. This can be viewed in their 2024 "Disability Price Tag" report.
