The Kick-it team held our first Swap to Stop programme today at Guildhall! We had a wonderful day and were able to sign up 8 people and start them on a programme on the spot. If you would like free stop smoking support:

The Kick-it Kingston team will be back at Guildhall 2 from 10.00 - 14.00 on Tuesday the 20th of January. We will be available to sign up any Kingston residents who are 18+ smokers that live, work or study in the Kingston borough. If you are eligible you will be able to pick up a free v**e starter kit on the day!

We are looking forward to our next Wellbeing on Friday 5th and are delighted that ShowerBox will be returning to KCAH that day. We had great feedback from users - 'I was surprised by the quality of it -the pressure, the heat and the people’. Please do share the shower poster as well as the wellbeing one with organisations or people who might benefit from them. We will have two new organisations attending. Thrive Kingston attending will be providing careers advice and registering interested residents to their service. Dentaid will be back to offer dental care (Please note that one of the dental team has a severe nut allergy).

We will have the usual toiletries and clothes being given out by our volunteers but we will also have a table of new and nearly new/good condition toys for clients to choose and wrap and give to their family or friends.

The Kick-it Stop Smoking Team will also be attending the event. So if you would like free stop smoking support, you will be able to find our outreach officers Chris and Sophie ready to sign you up on the day!

At Kick-It we provide a free, evidence-based service for all smokers who would like support in giving up. All of our clients receive six weeks of 1-1 support from a specialist stop smoking advisor who will tailor their support to each individual, as we recognise that everyone is different.
