Benefits of training outside ☀️
🌳Being exposed to sunlight will aid the production of vitamin D! = aids absorption of calcium to help strengthen the bones + soo many other benefits!
🌳 Training in daylight helps us to regulate our biological clock = better sleep quality at night!
🌳 Getting outside is energising & ultimately makes you more productive! (Especially if working from home)
🌳 Even when it’s cold & not sunny it turns out it’s good for us too! Cold exposure is a stressor that that trains our immune systems to be more resilient!
🌳 Using the environment and different surfaces around will be more ‘random’ and ‘unpredictable’ than the gym = better adaptation for real life!
🌳 Babies in buggies enjoy the park & background noises/ they usually sleep well! - lots of my post natal clients love training outside as they can bring the little one while they train without finding childcare- It’s a win win! 👶🏼

Thanks for a thorough and rewarding course! I love my job and feel so lucky to do what I do full time but I’m always striving to find time around clients to learn more & implement new techniques.
Since I got my level 3 personal training certificate 4 years ago I have set myself a standard to complete at least one course per year! Last year was my L4 S&C and this year I’ve been working on my corrective exercise specialist qualification which I passed last week! Next I have L4 nutrition with & Advanced women’s wellness practitioner with lined up to start in the new year 🤓🥑🥦🤰🏽👶🏼💪🏼

Here’s a 1 weight push pull home workout focusing on core & stability! These exercises are safe for everyone including pre & post natal! 👶🏼💪🏼

Using 1 Dumbell offsets your balance & is a great way to indirectly work the core while focusing on stability, strength & balance!

☑️ Single sided squat
☑️ Single leg hinge
☑️ Single arm press
☑️ Single arm row
☑️ Side Bend

Try 30 seconds per side! For 3 rounds
🤍 ( Have something to lightly hold onto for the hip hinge, any pelvic pain limit the range)
