Lera has been a devoted Practitioner of the Leaf for many years. For centuries, Tea in the form of Chadao Practice has been used by Daoist Sages and Buddhist Monks for alchemy and transformation. Lera holds sacred spaces with the Medicine of Tea in Chadao tradition facilitating journeys from the head to the heart, to the intimacy of life itself. Tea as a sacred plant medicine creates this space for us to drop into the heart and just be.

A few moments from our December Tea & Breath event, with Breath part led by Yulia ♥️

I have been resisting more intense types of breathwork for a while, just didn’t feel right somehow. But I loved that this one was semi intense, not too long, amazing soundtrack journey and guided in a very loving gentle and tender way. I did cry that evening from being touched deeply by beauty. And, being someone who doesn’t often cry, when I do, I enjoy and savour it so much.

Grateful for the experience. Grateful to be doing more breathwork now.

Just wish someone held a tea ceremony for me afterwards each time like we did in our event to ground and be and feel even more.

In the last two weeks I dropped into the state of deep rest - just sleeping, eating, watching films, drinking tea with my mum, doing somatic practices and meditating. I have been so behind putting any events online, just couldn’t do it, there was no energy or drive. Whenever I started it felt forced, and fake. But in the last two days the energy returned and here we are, there was a flow and the imagery, posts and words just came.

There are many events this winter and march, in some new locations, and old but special ones too. I hope you can find something that calls you and we get to share many bowls of steaming tea on these cold days together.

~ Fulham Pier ~ Sensory Tea Ceremony ~ new stunning location, the ceremony will be held with the amazing views of the river and vast sky, so if you live in West London, I hope you can join.

~ Moon Tea Ceremonies are always an opportunity to slow down, to pause, to feel and connect.

~ Re:Mind Studio ~ Detox and Glow Tea Ceremony ~ did you know that Tea flushes out the toxins from our body, and mind too? It is the perfect medicine post festive season. Actually, it is the perfect medicine - always.

~ Awaken Your Senses: Tea Ceremony + Himalayan Breath with Nina. This is the most magical event that I always look forward to. Nina will guide us through the sensual awakening breath, and also a sound healing that includes her incredible voice (the soundtrack to this post is her!)

~ The Temple of Her Pelvis ~ with Samara ~ slow and subtle somatic movement and tea ceremony, these always feel so potent and opening

~ The Rouge Shop in Stoke Newington ~ Tea Ceremony ~ this is like a second home now, so happy to be back after a long break

~ Tea & Alchemy Workshop with Robyn ~ this event starts with the tea ceremony to ground and open us, then nourishing lunch made by Robyn, and then the talk and exploration by Robyn loosely based on 5 principles programme. We have many conversations, moments of silence and laughs.

Looking forward to seeing many of you soon

When Natasha from reached out and offered to collaborate on Tea Ceremony and Modern technology, aka biohacking, I had a wholehearted full body yes to that.

We already worked together maybe 7 years ago on Secular Sabbath x Rhye in London, and all those years after seeing what Natasha creates I knew that anything she touches will be unique, one of a kind, ahead of its time and will simply be an amazing magical offering. And I wanted to be part of it.

It was a beautiful day with several tea ceremonies. Unique space in Ladbroke Grove, Red Light Therapy and PEMF mats by , and goodie bags with the value that far exceeded the cost of the ticket.

If anyone created an event like this, where the Tea Ceremony was together with the biohacking and gifts, I would be there 100%. I actually wanted to be there as a guest! I loved every minute of it and again, I am in awe of Natasha’s work and her curations. And really honoured that she invited me to be part of this beautiful experience. She is going to hold many more events, all as unique as this so follow her here for future ones!

If I am not working, you will find me at one of her events for sure ♥️♥️♥️

Ever since I did my first Vipassana in 2008 I knew about the importance of feeling your feelings in a visceral way. At that time it was a huge revelation that there is a connection between thoughts, emotions and physical sensations. And the only way to get out of the vicious loop of intense escalating emotions-thoughts-sensations is by feeling the sensations.

It was mind blowing for me! But how difficult it was to actually do it! With some of them it was easy and deeply transforming, with some I could feel I ended up more traumatised from overwhelm.

So of course there were doubts if this is actually working, if feeling your feelings is the way. Maybe I can just transcend the pain and traumas somehow?

Then there was a retreat with Adyashanti, during which, when answering someone’s question about pain, he replied that you can just watch it passing by as an observer but then be prepared that it will come back again, and again, and again... But if you FEEL that pain - he said - then the root of it will be gone, and it will not come back into your life.

From all the people I met, women and men, enlightened or not, spiritual or not, it is those - mostly women by the way - who were able to feel their feelings - who impacted me most. There was always something in them, very powerful, authentic, alive. Magnetic. Magical. Deeply healing. Blissful. Real.

Feeling the feelings is The Way. It is both transcending and descending.

It is not easy by all means. It is nuanced. And often we need the presence of the witness to hold space for us in a correct way - a therapist, a coach, a women’s circle - to make it manageable.

But it is The Way. And Tea teaches us to feel.

I am still buzzing with Love and magic that the team at has created. It is pure magic, it is pure love and beauty, and generosity.

I am still mesmerised with the whole concept and how it works. I have no idea how it works but it does. The idea of the free festival where everything is free - entrance, workshops, food and wine, where the only exchange is your attention and curiosity is something that you rarely find in this world. And I find it truly inspiring.

Because of that, and because of the rigorous interview process to choose who will join, everyone who is there in the end is truly special.

I guess they choose open hearted, sensitive and receptive guests, who can feel things deeply and receive in the same way too. So each and every tea ceremony I held, and there were four of them, was deep, and flowing, and effortless. I was not holding it, it was just happening.

I always say that yes, it’s Tea. Yes, it’s the one who serves Tea. But also it’s the guests. Their presence contributes to the Tea pot and the tea that brews in there. We all contribute to it. Each of our presences is in that pot of tea that we drink.

And what amazing pots of tea we had infused with everyone’s presence and openness!

This interview process definitely works.

So many speakers inspired me. I missed all the talks and workshops because of serving tea, but talking and dancing with everyone afterwards was hugely inspiring and motivating. So much so that I could easily give up everything and join what they do. This year I served tea later in the day, and so there were a few late nights exploring Bucharest, incredible music studios, dancing and so much more.

I am touched on all the levels, tears of gratitude are still showing up in my eyes as I connect back to the weekend. The lenses, the filters separating me from the world are much cleaner, and fewer now too.

I am totally in LOVE.

Throughout the years of serving tea and seeing how the tea lessons are truly life lessons, as Wu De says so often, I started seeing more and more that those four Virtues of Tea are truly the foundation of Tea. The foundation of Life itself.

They are so simple yet so powerful.

Harmony. Purity. Reverence. Tranquility.

So simple, almost easy to overlook, or deem basic.

Yet, they are far from the basic.

Through practicing them in tea, if we pay attention and are intentional, they start infusing our whole life. And through that life is transformed in the most miraculous ways.

I am so in awe of these virtues, they are in the background of my consciousness all the time.
So I decided to hold monthly Virtue of Tea Series - practical, immersive, explorational.

We will explore how each of them apply to the ceremony of tea, as well as how, when applied to our daily life, they can truly transform it and make daily mundane moments magical.

Link to these series is in Bio.

Love You!

What a beautiful week it has been. One of the highlights (although each event was a highlight for me) was holding tea ceremonies at for Beyond Awakening retreat.

Ahhh, what an amazing location, the views took our breath away, and more importantly - people - what an incredible energy, receptivity and sensitivity. I was touched beyond words by all the deep sharing and words, it was pure poetry for the heart. Everyone’s eyes and presence and words touched me deeply.

I had my beautiful spontaneous last minute helper who got ready in one hour very early in the morning for this adventure - , thank you, you were amazing.

Thank you Tree and Earth - you held us so well.

And gathering water for tea in the nearby spring in the Oare Marshes was also very special ♥️

For most of us the moments of joy and happiness coincide with the times of deep inner relaxation. Any time we are truly happy or experience pure joy, we are deeply relaxed inside.

In fact, the so-called spiritual enlightenment is relaxation into what is, surrender is inner relaxation, as well as non resistance to life.

No wonder, most of us are attracted to people, places and activities that give that feeling of relaxation.

Those things for me (and for others too) are always - Tea, Nature and Sauna. And if Tea and Sauna take place in nature, that makes it even deeper and creates more magic!

So Sasha, the owner of Banya in East Sussex, and I decided to co-create and weave together the experience that contains all of those elements.

There will be two silent tea ceremonies to start and set the tone for the day and to ground us at the end of it. Traditional silent long sauna ritual in the wood fired banya. Nourishing home made food for lunch. Nature and trees. The company of sisters.

Nothing else needed.

Today is the last day of EARLY BIRD PRICE.
Link to book in BIO.

We hope to spend this day with you 💚💚💚

ABOUT LOCATION
This event is held in a private residence in a big outdoor space of Sasha. In the event of difficult weather we will hold it inside the house as there is plenty of space there.

ABOUT SAUNA
Please note that the sauna is a traditional Russian wood fired Banya under a pine tree, and we will have a traditional ritual with oak and birch whisks. You will be encouraged to be silent while in the Banya itself and to feel the sensations. It is a beautiful purifying ritual that brings joy, happiness and the sense of renewal.

ABOUT FOOD
Welcome drinks and nourishing lunch with the desert is included prepared by the loving hands and heart of our dear friend.

A few weeks ago we celebrated International Water Day. For tea water is very important - in ancient times they knew this and recognised that great water can make even an inferior tea beautiful, while inferior water can make even great tea quite average. And they seeked out the best water they could for their precious teas.

In the UK a few hundred years ago they also knew how important water is for tea. Did you know that you could send your local water sample to the big stores like Fortnum & Mason, Twinnings and others so that they could test it and match the best tea for that particular water and its parameters?

Of course spring water is almost always the best to use. In many places people are lucky enough to have a few sources of spring water. In London we are a little bit less lucky with that.

But if you go to Wimbledon Common to Caesar’s Well - which used to be an ancient sacred ritual place (you can still feel the power and beauty there) - you can find the water spring and bring some water home for your tea 💧💧💧
It’s captured in the last video 💙

Recently me and held a Tea & Cello Ceremony for 21 people. Bigger groups require a different kind of structure and a different kind of serving.

I was inspired to hold it in a similar way to the way it was happening at workshops in Estonia a year ago. The group was huge! 75 guests! And yet, the way the ceremony was choreographed, the way the chajins served us tea - was the entire focal point of the ceremony. I was mesmerised with every single movement, detail, the exchange of the looks between the servers, chatongs and everyone else who was participating in a ceremony. It felt that each movement, each look was affecting me deeply, on a visceral level. To serve 75 guests in this way requires a high level of mastery and coordination, and being attuned to each other. That was powerful. For me at least.

Our group recently was smaller in comparison, and yet it still required extra helpers and servers and as a result attunement and choreography. Garwyn and Dillon .maloney._ - both sensitive human beings, distributed the tea to the guests and poured the tea into the bowls on subsequent rounds. I was amazed how in sync with each other they did it, how gracefully they kneeled in front of each guest, and how harmonious the tea ceremony flowed. And all the guests could sit in one half circle, which was so nice.

The tea ceremony was accompanied with Garwyn’s flutes while the tea was drank in silence. And then the second part was just intense and passionate and transformative cello play by Garwyn again. As many guests commented - it was quite profound and very shamanic. No wonder as Garwyn has been on his shamanic training for a few years now.

Very grateful ♥️
