Motherhood 🤍

This was me around 2–3 months postpartum — me and my little boy at baby yoga.
He fell asleep on the way there… and I fell asleep in child’s pose 🤣

Those weighted pillows on my back held me in ways I still can’t fully explain. I’m so grateful for that space — just an hour to breathe, to let go, to exist outside the sleepless nights.

I hadn’t showered.
My hair hadn’t been washed in who knows how long.
I was exhausted in every sense of the word
But I did something small for myself and for my baby. And in that moment, I realised. I was okay.

Sometimes all you need is someone to remind you — you’ve got this.
Everything will be okay ❤️
You are still you.
The incredible person you were before… and even more now
Stronger, softer, deeper, wiser✨️

To any Mama / Papa who needs to hear it today — I see you. ✨

"The Red Book" or Personal Child Health Record (PCHR) 📖

This book is your Child's health record from Birth till Age 5. 

The initial checks include: 

• Newborn and Infant Physical Examination (NIPE)

• Hearing test 

• 6 - 8 week GP check up which includes a second NIPE check. 

The book contains a record of your child’s immunisations and vaccinations, growth charts and additional useful information / links. 

Please take your Red Book / PCHR for all appointments with a Midwife / Health Visitor or GP.
