This is part of the team you meet from the beginning.

The people who are there at consultation, who know your plan, and who stay involved through surgery, recovery and follow up. The same faces, the same voices, the same point of contact.

Care does not stop after surgery.
And it does not change hands halfway through.

This is the team that looks after you from start to finish, and beyond that.

Non surgical treatments often come up when patients are thinking about facial changes and want to understand what their options are.

In this reel, Mr Alfie shares his perspective on injectables such as Botox and fillers, where they can be helpful, and where their limitations lie.

Injectables can work well for certain concerns. They can soften lines, improve definition, and support volume, particularly earlier on. For many patients, they play an important role at that stage.

However, they are not designed to address everything.

As facial changes progress, there may be a point where injectables no longer provide the structure or longevity someone is looking for. In those cases, longer term surgical options such as a facelift, neck lift, fat transfer, lip lift or brow lift may be discussed.

It is not about promoting one approach over another.
It is about understanding what is appropriate, and when.

Last week, we swapped scrubs for speakers.
It was Mr Alfie's birthday, so we celebrated in style.

Music in the clinic, cake in the staff room, and a little singing; some of it better than others.
Between consultations and theatre lists, the team paused to celebrate together.

Moments like these matter.
We work hard, we laugh together, and then it's straight back to it the next morning.

Happy Birthday, Mr Alfie 🎂

In this second part of our discussion, Mr Alfie explores the various options available when considering breast surgery, and explains why there is rarely a single, definitive solution.

Doing nothing is always a valid option.

A breast uplift can restore a more youthful position without increasing size.

Implants can add volume and may be combined with a lift, depending on individual anatomy and desired outcomes.

This is where a thorough consultation becomes essential.

Implant size is not solely about aesthetics. While larger implants may, in some instances, negate the need for a lift, they also entail long-term considerations. For some patients, opting for a slightly smaller size may feel more appropriate than risking a result that ultimately feels too large.

There is no pressure to opt for larger implants, nor are there any preconceived notions about what a patient should desire.

Decisions are made through open conversation, experience and careful planning.

In this moment, Mr Alfie is speaking with a patient about changes following pregnancy, including weight loss and how this can affect breast size and proportion.

These discussions are not about numbers on a scale. They are about understanding anatomy, body frame, and how the body has changed over time. What applied before pregnancy does not always reflect how the body settles afterwards.

This is why careful assessment and open discussion matter.

Every consultation starts with listening.

Watch how these conversations happen.

A mummy makeover isn't about fixing everything at once, nor is it a standard package.

A common question during consultations is:

Can more than one concern be addressed safely, and is it sensible to do so?

The patient whose images are shown here contacted Delta Clinics to discuss concerns about their abdomen and breasts. Following assessment, a surgical plan was developed based on anatomy, recovery considerations and clinical judgement.

In surgical terms, a mummy makeover usually involves procedures relating to the abdomen and breasts. Whether those procedures are carried out together or in stages depends on individual factors.

This is where careful planning is essential.

Muscle separation, skin quality, existing scars, breast tissue and overall health all influence what can be combined and what should not be. In some cases, combining procedures is appropriate, while in others, spacing out surgery leads to better control and recovery.

There is no single correct version of a mummy makeover, only an approach that is appropriate for the individual.

At Delta Clinics, every plan begins with a detailed consultation and a clear explanation, based on assessment rather than assumptions or trends.

If this is something you have been considering, it's a conversation worth having.

Not everyone wants “bigger.” Most patients want balance.

In this consultation, the focus is on proportion, frame, and personal preference, trying different sizes, comparing options, and talking through what feels right for the body in front of us.

For this patient, the goal was clear:
not “big”, not dramatic — just fuller, more balanced, and appropriate for her body.

These moments matter. Because good outcomes don’t start with assumptions. They start with listening.

At Delta Clinics, every decision is guided by anatomy, proportion, and a clear understanding of what the patient actually wants.

💬 Watch the Reel to see how these decisions are made in real time.

Before recommending any abdominal surgery, there are four key layers that must be carefully assessed.

In this consultation, Mr Hazem Alfie, Consultant Plastic Surgeon, explains how the abdomen is evaluated layer by layer, not as a single area. This approach helps determine which treatments are appropriate and which are not.

The assessment focuses on:
1️⃣ Skin
2️⃣ Fat
3️⃣ Muscles
4️⃣ What lies beneath the muscles

Each layer plays a different role in abdominal shape, strength, and surgical planning. Understanding how they interact is essential before considering procedures such as liposuction, skin tightening, or abdominoplasty.

This is where experienced assessment matters.
Not trends. Not assumptions.

▶️ Stay tuned for Part 2 next week, where the discussion continues and the surgical plan comes together.

Six-Month Review Following Abdominal Surgery

This case shows the outcome at six months following a combined abdominal procedure addressing skin, muscle, and contour.

The treatment plan included abdominoplasty, waistline high-definition contouring, VASER liposuction, skin tightening, and repair of abdominal muscle separation. At this stage, postoperative swelling has largely settled, allowing the abdominal profile and waistline definition to be more clearly assessed.

Internal muscle repair provides support to the abdominal wall, while contouring techniques focus on proportion and balance through the waist. Ongoing tissue adaptation and individual healing continue to influence the final appearance.

Procedure performed by Mr Hazem Alfie, Consultant Plastic Surgeon, at Delta Clinics, delivered through a consultant-led approach from assessment through aftercare.
