It’s Monday, and it’s time to grab your motivation to kick off this week—so here are a few thoughts I have.

Unmasking Self-Sabotage 🧠

Ever wonder why success sometimes feels fleeting? Like you’re on a roll—landing clients, growing your business, and suddenly, everything comes crashing down?

💡 It’s not about discipline or effort—it’s about survival.

Your subconscious isn’t wired for success, it’s wired for safety. And for many of us, safety means staying in the familiar—even if that means staying stuck. This creates an internal war: one side of you craves growth, while the other side pulls you back, clinging to the status quo. This isn’t just a random pattern; it's a deeply rooted defence mechanism designed to protect you from change, which it perceives as a threat.

The truth is, self-sabotage stems from hidden fears—sometimes buried trauma—that you haven’t fully faced. Every time you push forward and experience progress, these unresolved fears flare up, saying, “Whoa, this is too much too fast—let’s go back to where we’re safe!”

🚨 The result? You start to undermine your own growth. Whether it’s procrastination, distraction, or doubt, something always seems to get in the way.

But here's the kicker: self-sabotage isn't failure—it's a signal. It's telling you there's a part of you that feels unsafe or unworthy of success, and unless you acknowledge it, you'll keep falling into the same cycle.

Here’s a simple way to begin breaking the cycle: Next time you feel the pull to slow down or self-destruct, pause. Ask yourself, What am I really afraid of? What’s the worst that could happen if I let myself succeed?

🧠 🗝️ The biggest understanding is that in order for you to become the next version of you, the older version, the version of you right now.. has to "die". And the self sabotage often comes from them... the fear, the procrastination, the self doubt etc.. It's them holding on as they want you to be safe in the now.

Once you understand and know how to solve this - the whole world opens for you!

Let’s open up the conversation. Drop a comment below or 🔥:

👉 Have you noticed self-sabotage in your journey? How do you think it’s holding you back?

I’d love to hear your experiences, struggles, or insights. No need to commit to anything—just share your thoughts. This might be the key to understanding your next breakthrough.

Recovery.. It’s not sexy!
I mean... Rest days? Foam rolling? Deloading? Stretching?
Bleh... how boring right.
You see most women are led to believe results ONLY come if you just crush yourself in the gym, day after day.
The TRUTH is..
* No matter how hardcore your fitness routine is
* How often you exercise
* How on-point your diet is
If your recovery sucks, your health, energy, and gains will suffer
And POOR recovery may be the reason why..
You’re not losing those pounds— or maybe even gaining some regardless of "calorie deficit"
You’re exhausted all the time
You seem to be constantly battling soreness, stiffness, and recurring injuries
What are the 5 SIGNS :
1: Performance plateauing or even declining: Under-recovery means that you never get faster, better, or stronger—despite putting in hours of work
2: You're gaining weight despite good efforts: Overtraining ramps up cortisol which in turn causes
*An increase in your appetite, especially for sugary, carb-rich foods
* A disruption of hormones that help you put on muscle and burn fat
* A shift in the body’s metabolism to store fat
3.You're Excessively Tired or Fatigued: What’s not normal is when fatigue starts to creep into your daily life. When it becomes impossible to get out of bed or you reach for that third or fourth cup of coffee.
4.Low Heart Rate Variability: Measuring your HRV is one of the best ways to know if your body is stressed. The higher your HRV, the more recovered and ready to train you are.
5.You're Constantly Sore, Stiff, or Injured: Research has shown that both high and low level soreness training programs deliver similar gains in muscle mass.
In other words, soreness is not a requirement for increasing performance or muscle gains.
SOLUTION
1: Reduce training load (Obvious but MOST don't even do this)
2: Get smart and get a coach to guide you
3: Nail the basics (Sleep, blue light, cold/hot, infrared, sunshine, grounding etc)
4: Supplements (Collagen, Omega 3's, Magnesium, Essential Aminos)
Have you ever suffered from overtraining? How did you overcome it?

Your success in life is built around your ability to adapt
The stimulus in life, is just that.. training, business, stress etc
There’s no point becoming great at absorbing all the stimulus if you and your body cannot adapt accordingly.
Adaptation can only come from knowing how to recover correctly
And recovery is a multifaceted topic.
But even then, why guess on all the how’s when we know have the ability to get the data on how well our nervous system can adapt and perform.
For me HRV is one of the biggest game changing metrics CEO’s and athletes can use to enhance life, health and performance.
