“Blinged Up Chunky Wooden Therapy Jigsaw Puzzle” - made for Max’s 11th birthday... he chose the photo after seeing a canvas on my wall of this picture and asked for pins... but the diamanté’s look better against this particular photo, I think.

Taken from the Sky Garden, so a view he saw on one of our London adventures last year. It is A4 in size and has 56 pieces - and is nowhere near as easy to put together as it looks as if it should be... of course!

A selection of embellishments for my “chunky” handmade wooden, therapeutic jigsaws, designed to help people who have dexterity problems:
1) wooden cube
2) diamanté (my favourite, which can be obtained in several different colours, not just clear)
3) small magnet (my second favourite)
4) wooden peg
5) clear peg (can be obtained in other colours)
6) little hook.

What’s your favourite, and why, please?

Early days of our handmade, therapeutic wooden jigsaws. They take hours to make, and hours to make up. They’ll last for years and bring endless fun, frustration and sense of achievement. Every piece is different - no two jigsaws will ever be the same. Designed for people with dexterity and coordination problems, they have many other medical uses, too.
