We seem to be the clinic for twin pregnancies lately and we absolutely love it 🤍🫶🏽

Did you know there are different types of twins?

🍼Dichorionic Diamniotic (DCDA) – each baby has their own placenta and sac (most common and lowest risk)

🍼Monochorionic Diamniotic (MCDA) – twins share a placenta but have separate sacs

🍼Monochorionic Monoamniotic (MCMA) – twins share both the placenta and the sac (rarer and needs closer monitoring)

That’s why having an early pregnancy scan is so important 🫶🏽 It helps determine exactly what type of twin pregnancy you’re carrying, so you can get the right care and monitoring from the very beginning.
