Another productive day delivering National Water Hygiene training for the team at Lanes Group working on the Southern Water contract.

This session took place at their Tonbridge depot, where we ran a double training session to ensure the team are fully compliant and equipped with the knowledge required to safely work on the clean water network. From best practice procedures to understanding contamination risks, the training ensures operatives are confident in maintaining the highest standards across the water industry.

Great engagement from the team throughout the day. It is always encouraging to see operatives committed to keeping safety and compliance at the forefront of their work.

A busy day last week delivering two National Water Hygiene training sessions for the team at Lanes Group at their Crawley depot, supporting their work on the Southern Water contract.

The sessions focused on ensuring operatives understand the correct procedures for protecting water supplies, preventing contamination and working safely in line with industry requirements.

This course can be delivered on-site at your premises or remotely, making it easy for teams to stay compliant while fitting around operational schedules.

Last week we were pleased to support TSE Group Services during their two day audit as part of the process to extend their existing ISO 9001 certification.

The audit focused on expanding the scope of their management system to include National Highways Sector Scheme (NHSS) 12D, which relates to traffic management services on motorways and high speed dual carriageways. This includes the design, installation, maintenance and removal of temporary traffic management systems.

Day one centred around the management system itself, with the auditor reviewing documented procedures, processes and how the business operates in line with ISO requirements.

Day two moved onto a live site audit, where TSE are currently supporting MTS on an ongoing project delivering traffic management works. This allowed the auditor to verify that the systems and controls within the management system are not only documented, but are also being implemented correctly on site.

Matrix recently supported TSE by developing and implementing their integrated ISO management system, covering ISO 9001 (Quality Management), ISO 14001 (Environmental Management) and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety). The successful audit now extends the system further to include NHSS 12D, strengthening their capability within the highways and traffic management sector.

A great result and a strong step forward for the team at TSE. 👏

A great few days delivering our 3 Day First Aid at Work course for the team at Forge Homes.

From CPR and AED use to dealing with choking, bleeding control and emergency scenarios, the group got fully involved and really put the practical skills to the test. Exactly how first aid training should be, hands on, realistic and confidence building.

Well done to everyone who took part and successfully completed the course. It is fantastic to see businesses like Forge Homes investing in their people and workplace safety.
