On Wednesday, we hosted a fantastic Social Meet & Greet at our Waterside Care Home in Peckham, London, in celebration of National Care Leavers Week, which runs this year from October 29th to November 3rd. This week shines a spotlight on creating an inclusive future for young people through several key initiatives:

✨ Celebrating care-experienced individuals
📢 Amplifying their voices
🤝 Raising awareness of their unique challenges
💼 Promoting changes in policies and practices

At Agincare, we are proud to support this important cause. In partnership with One Pearson and Southwark Council, we launched a meaningful program offering 3-month experience placements. This initiative aims to equip care leavers and young adults from challenging backgrounds with the skills and confidence needed to build brighter futures.

The program provides essential support to young people facing difficult circumstances, including troubled backgrounds, time in care, mental health challenges, and neurodiverse needs. We are also committed to continuous professional development (CPD) ensuring opportunities to gain new qualifications and expand career pathways.
