Youth4Youth

Youth4Youth Youth4Youth is a non-profit organisation that provides peer-to-peer mentoring services for young people across the UK.

Teenage Helpline is a non-profit organisation that aims to support young people through any difficult times. Teenage Helpline mentors are all young people themselves, and are able to support young people through any of their issues. This could be through mentoring, or through helping the young person to build up the confidence to get the support or help that they may need.

Happy ! 💙 Today, instead of asking, we're taking a moment to say a MASSIVE THANK YOU to every single person who has supported Youth4Youth this year.

From pounding the pavements in a marathon, to incredible corporate fundraising initiatives, generous individual donations, and vital Lottery grants – every single penny you've contributed makes a tangible difference. It means more young people can access a safe space and a listening ear from a peer mentor when they need it most.

Your kindness helps us empower young people to thrive. Thank you for being a part of our journey!

Know the signs. If a friend suddenly withdraws, changes their sleep/eating habits, or drops activities they love, check in. It could make all the difference.

This week is National Self-Care Week. Taking time for yourself isn't selfish; it's essential for your mental wellbeing. In our busy lives, remembering to pause and recharge is more important than ever.

What's your favourite way to practise self-care? Whether it's reading a book, listening to music, going for a walk, or simply talking things through, find what works for you.

This is the chance to lead a national movement built on the power of peer-to-peer support and youth leadership.

Thanks to new funding — including vital support from The National Lottery Community Fund and Greenwood Arbitration — we are ready to expand our reach and deepen our support for young people across the UK.

We connect young people with each other, fostering resilience, confidence, and crucial early intervention support — especially for those who find it difficult to speak with adults or professionals.

“I can’t wait to collaborate with a new CEO who will help us scale our reach and deepen our support for young people." — Josh Towers, Chair of the Board and outgoing CEO.

If you are passionate, innovative, and driven to make lasting change, we want to hear from you.

That's what your donation achieves. A majority of people reaching out are struggling with their mental health. Your support matters. Real change, real impact.

Happy Trans Awareness Week.

We stand with our trans youth today and every day. Your experiences are valid, your identity is real.

We also acknowledge the disproportionate mental health challenges they can face due to discrimination, lack of understanding, and difficulty finding affirming spaces.

Our peer mentoring service is designed to be a vital source of early intervention and support. We ensure our mentors are equipped to provide a genuinely inclusive and non-judgmental environment where trans youth can discuss their gender identity, mental wellbeing, and any other concerns in confidence. This week, and always, we strive to be a steadfast ally.

Today marks the start of Anti-Bullying Week across the UK. This Anti-Bullying week is a powerful reminder that bullying has no place in our schools, online, or anywhere else. Every young person deserves to feel safe, respected, and valued.

If you're experiencing bullying – online, in person, or emotionally – remember you are not alone. It's not your fault, and help is available. Our Youth4Youth peer mentors offer a confidential and non judgmental space to talk through what's happening and find ways forward.

Let's make a stand together.

November is a month dedicated to men's health, and that absolutely includes mental health. We know it can be tough for young men to open up about what they're going through. But talking is a strength, not a weakness. Our peer mentors are here to provide a confidential space to chat about anything – from daily pressures to deeper struggles.

You don't have to put on a brave face alone. Let's grow a conversation this Movember.
