Motherhood is the hardest job I’ve ever had.
And without question the most rewarding.
Four little humans who rely on me for absolutely everything.
Energy, patience, food, cuddles, answers, lifts, snacks, more snacks… and occasionally my sanity.
Some days it’s chaos.
Some days it’s exhausting beyond words.
But every single day it’s the greatest privilege of my life.
I’m so grateful to Joe for making me a mummy.
And for always making me feel so special on Mother’s Day, and every day - even though most of the time we’re just in the beautiful madness of normal life.
I also know Mother’s Day can feel complicated.
For those longing to be mums.
For those missing their mums.
For those navigating loss, grief, or difficult relationships.
Today can hold a lot.
But what I do know is this: women are extraordinary.
The love we give.
The strength we carry.
The way we hold families, homes, friendships, communities — and somehow keep going.
However today looks for you, I hope you feel how remarkable you are.
Because women really are incredible.
Happy Mother’s Day 🤍
