SUNDAY SALADS (with a side of lasagne) 🤗 my kinda weekend food!

Healthy eating isn’t a punishment. You can reach your goals, stay slim and healthy, whilst eating delicious food like this (and more!) 🍣🍝🥙🍱

And while I won’t pretend cheese laden lasagne is a “weight loss” food (see the last pics) - it’s one indulgent food that’s a favourite of mine and I’ll never say no to! This one had so many high fibre veggies it surely cancels out all the calories, carbs and cheese 😜

In all seriousness, once healthy eating and nourishing your body with the food it needs, becomes a way of life - you naturally become able to enjoy the indulgent foods you love - sensibly, without guilt - as part of a balanced, healthy and happy lifestyle!

Reflect. Reset. Recharge. ✍🏽 for a STRONG, HEALTHY 2026 💪🏽💫

As 2025 comes to a close, now is the perfect time to pause and reflect…

What went well?

What could have been better?

And most importantly…

How do you want to feel in the new year?

Instead of extreme resolutions, focus on small, realistic changes that actually last.

Take a moment to reflect on:

• What habits make you feel your best

• What you want to carry forward into 2026

• What you’re ready to change or let go of

• One realistic goal you’d love to achieve next year

After years of working with clients through The Food Effect, I’ve seen that the right MINDSET, BALANCE and CONSISTENCY are the true foundations of sustainable weight-loss and long-term health.

You don’t need to overhaul your life overnight — or ever.
Small, consistent steps are what build results that last.

Sounds simple?? It actually is — but most people need guidance and support.

If you’re ready to finally take charge of your health in 2026, I’d love to help!

My 1:1 programme, The Food Effect Method, provides the personalised advice, accountability and support you need to finally reach your goals — realistically and ENJOYABLY !! 💃🏻

Sweet & Spicy Nuts - the perfect healthy nibble for New Year’s Eve 🥂 So many of you asked for the recipe after I shared making these in my stories over the weekend… so here they are!

Sweet, crunchy, a little spicy, and genuinely satisfying — no blood sugar spikes or crashes.

I love these all year round, and they’re especially good to have on hand for festive nibbles without the food hangover!

This is the kind of balanced, real-life approach to food I focus on with my clients — enjoying delicious food without guilt or deprivation.

RECIPE is on The Food Effect Blog — link in my bio 💚
Let me know if you try them! Happy New Year ✨

My top tips for staying healthy, calm (& happy!) over the holidays ✨

The festive season is here — bringing with it celebrations, family time… and lots of food!

If you’re feeling stressed about “derailing” your health or weight loss goals, not to worry — I’ve got you covered.

Here are my top 3 tips to help you stay healthy and reassured — heading into January feeling GOOD…

1️⃣ Don’t head out hungry!

“Saving calories” by skipping meals or under-eating during the day when you know you’re heading out in the evening is a sure-fire setup for overeating. Arriving overly hungry makes it much harder to tune into hunger and fullness cues — and often leads to excessive eating later on.

2️⃣ Snack smart before you go!

A small, balanced snack can make a huge difference.
Focus on protein, fibre and healthy fats for optimal satiety and blood sugar stability. This combination helps you feel calmer around food, stay fuller for longer, and reduces the urge to overindulge on sugary foods later on.

3️⃣ Change your mindset and ditch the guilt!

Try not to let food stress overshadow what really matters — enjoying this special time with friends and family. And remember: if you do overeat or overindulge, it’s no big deal.

Nothing is “ruined”. Stay kind to yourself, move forward, and gently return to your usual healthy habits when you can — without guilt or punishment.

Enjoyment matters more than eating “perfectly”.

If you’re ready to start the New Year with simple, personalised nutrition support that fits your life, and doesn’t involve deprivation, I’d love to help.

My 1-on-1 programme, The Food Effect Method, is designed to make healthy eating easy, enjoyable, and sustainable.

HEALTHY HEARTY MINESTRONE 🍲✨

I shared that I made a big batch of this at the start of the week - with the London weather suddenly FREEZING 🥶 I’m even more glad I did!

It’s packed with plant-based protein (if you watch my stories you’ll know I’m bean-obsessed!), fibre, veggies — all in all, a ton of gut-loving goodness!

Nourishing, satisfying and comforting, whilst still being totally waistline-friendly… what more could you want!?

It’s also incredibly easy to make — perfect for quick weeknight suppers or for meal-prepping a big batch over the weekend.

If you haven’t yet made it, this is your nudge — true healthy comfort in a bowl. Recipe is up on The Food Effect blog — link in my bio! 🤗💚

My famous NO-BAKE SWEET POTATO SPIDER WEB COOKIES 🍠🍫🍪🕸️ Whether you celebrate Halloween or not, this recipe is a must!

One of the very first recipes I created for The Food Effect Blog – and to this day, it remains one of the most popular (and most delicious!)

These have been made and remade by myself, so many of you on here, and countless clients over the years… and for good reason!

They’re truly more delicious (and so much better for you!) than a Snickers.

They’re also:

- Gluten-free
- Dairy-free
- Vegan
- Perfect for adults and kids alike!

With a crunchy, crispy chocolate coating and a sweet, creamy filling – these tick all the craving boxes. And they pack in a ton of amazing nutritional goodness too!

Full recipe is on THE FOOD EFFECT blog. You can also watch me make them (and try them!) over on my YouTube channel. Links to both are in my bio.

If you make them, I’d love to hear what you think!

And if you’d like more delicious, healthy snack ideas and recipes like this – that allow you to enjoy food (on holidays and special occasions too!) without ever feeling deprived – then my 1:1 programme, THE FOOD EFFECT METHOD, is for you.

DM me to find out how it can help you reach your health and weight goals while enjoying every bite!

Feel like your eating’s been all over the place lately?? 🙃 You’re definitely not alone!

After weeks (or even months!) of holidays, family meals, social events, or just being out of routine, it’s normal to need a bit of guidance getting back on track with healthy habits.

Whilst I truly believe indulging and enjoying delicious food with loved ones, is one of life’s greatest joys alongside healthy eating 🍨🥗 when it’s prolonged, we usually crave a return to balance!

Here’s what I personally do when I’m feeling this way, and what I guide all my clients through as part of my 1:1 program THE FOOD EFFECT METHOD:

1. Don’t Go Hungry 🙅🏻‍♀️

The biggest mistake people make after indulging is trying to restrict or eat less. Don’t do it! Restricting only keeps you stuck in the binge–restrict–craving cycle.

Just get back to your normal healthy routine — the goal is to nourish, not punish!

Which follows on to…

2. Nourish Your Body 🫶🏽

Focus on balanced meals with lean protein, fibre, healthy fats and wholesome healthy carbs.

This keeps your blood sugar steady, curbs cravings, and helps you feel energised and in control again (rather than craving the cookies because you think you have to eat just chicken breast & lettuce!)

3. Let Go of the Guilt 🧘🏻‍♀️

Remember, it’s just food! There’s no need to feel bad or stressed over it. Once you focus on nourishing your body - your energy levels, metabolism, and joy naturally fall back into place.

This is why I focus on MINDSET as much as the right NUTRITION — because real, lasting transformation comes from not just what you eat, but how you think about food!

If you’re ready to feel healthy, balanced, and your absolute best self, I’d love to help you.

Here’s to thriving, not just surviving! 💃🏻💚

HOLIDAYS WITHOUT THE WEIGHT GAIN ✈️

Think weight loss means eating grilled chicken and salad while everyone else tucks into pizza and pasta?? I’m here to tell you… it doesn’t have to be that way!

These are just some of the meals my clients enjoyed over the summer holidays (yes, bread, pasta and carbs included!) 🍞🍝🍣

And the best part?? Not one of them gained a pound on their return.

That’s the power of THE FOOD EFFECT METHOD… you don’t have to skip meals, eat boring food, or feel like holidays will sabotage your health and weight loss progress.

When you have a way of eating that works for YOU — holidays stop being a “danger zone” and simply become part of living your life!

It’s not about eating less — it’s about eating right! Making smart choices, knowing what works for your body, and enjoying food with zero guilt.

This is exactly what I guide my clients through — everyday meals, eating out, travelling, holidays… you can stay slim and healthy while enjoying delicious food!

If this sounds good to you, I’d love to help you take the stress out of eating and finally reach your goals with ease. Feel free to DM me or click the link in my bio to book a free discovery call.

Here’s to enjoying every meal, every holiday, and feeling your absolute best — wherever you are in the world! 🌍✨
