Καθώς οι μέρες έχουν μικρύνει και τα βλέμματα γυρνούν σιγά σιγά και προς τα μέσα, ο καιρός προσφέρεται για συνάντηση με τους προγόνους και μια πιο εσωτερική διεργασία εμβάθυνσης και μεταμόρφωσης των κληρονομημένων φορτίων σε δύναμη.

Το εισαγωγικό για το σεμινάριο θα γίνει online στις 1 Νοεμβρίου, και το σεμινάριο θα λάβει χώρα σε 4 μονοήμερες συναντήσεις, κοντά στον Μαραθώνα στην Ανατολική Αττική, δίπλα στη φωτιά και την ησυχία του φυσικού τοπίου. Στις 8 και 23 Νοεμβρίου και στις 5 και 13 Δεκεμβρίου.

I am thrilled to announce that with Dita Vizoso I’ll be co-leading a session entitled “Grief Tending at the Crossroads” at Emergence Network's Becoming Monster Festival.

We invite you to come honor all the pains and stuckness and numbness that you may be carrying —for your own losses, those of your ancestors, of the world, and to trace different openings of the crossroads, through which the errant, fugitive and excessive 'world' can flow. Gently. Tentatively. Exuberantly.

The world feels increasingly mad at the moment doesn't it? I often lose the ground from underneath my feet, but glad I have ways of returning. These turbulent uncertain times, often cry out for us to develop a deeper root system. That's what we'll be doing in the Autumn, on this 6 week-course on Embodying Ancestral Blessings (in collaboration with True Nature and The Psychedelic Society).

In this second workshop, Alex Ioannou will guide you through a basic ritual framework to connect with the wise and well ancestors, identify sources of ancestral grief, and express them in a group embodied ritual container.

The work is practical and pragmatic, and can help you feel more grounded in your own body, more conscious about your own path and purpose, and more connected with your own emotions without the burdensome impact of ungrieved experiences.

Yesterday we completed a three-day ancestral healing intensive in La Zubia (near Granada) with nearly 40 participants and six awesome ritualist supporters.

Many who were new to ancestral healing practices made direct connections with what is nourishing from their lineages. Half of the breakout groups were only in Spanish. We gave ritual care to matters of family and cultural pain with elder powers overseeing the unfolding. We moved with Lorca, Camaron, Paco de Lucia.

Prayers were made in Castellano, English, Catalan, Gallego, Portuguese, Greek, Italian, and Arabic, and the offering in the images is now in the cool darkness of Earth, returning, feeding what feeds us.

Particular praise to our support crew and translation team (my Spanish is still clumsy): , and Samara Michaelson. Praise to the holy mountains here and the sacred waters and old powers. It was sweet to gather so close to home and to feel so welcome!

Next stops in 2024 are Budapest and Belfast (still a few spaces for each). It's been nearly 20 years since I first guided the lineage healing process in group space (May 2005 in San Mateo, CA) and it's a heartening to see the progression. ¡Olé!

Who are the ancestors really?
What is the work of becoming friends with our inherited ancestral grief?
What's the ancestors' role in metabolizing some of the power-over patriarchal toxins of modern culture?
