When I turned 40, I had two choices
I could let my physique change “naturally” and tell myself that this is just what happens…
Or I could push with intention and get into better shape than before
What I chose wasn’t about punishment or extremes
It was about structure, strategy, and understanding
Understanding things like:
• Progressive overload
• Energy intake and expenditure
• Training with purpose, not just sweating for the sake of it
Harder doesn’t mean beasting yourself into exhaustion
It doesn’t mean mental workouts, burning out, or losing your head in the process
It means making SMART adjustments
It means creating a shift while still living a balanced life
Turning 40 mattered to me
It’s a big milestone and I wanted to control the narrative, not just accept second best
I wanted to show up stronger, healthier, and more confident
For myself
For my clients
And to show other women that this is possible
You don’t have to settle
You don’t have to accept “this is just how it is now”
