Sometimes it takes years to realize it wasn’t our child playing the game…
It was our unfulfilled ambitions on the pitch.
We compared. We pressured. We corrected.
When all we really needed to do was sit on the sideline — and just cheer.

Today, many of us wish we could transfer from teams like Daddream Athletic to Childream United.
From Trophyrush Rovers to Joyfirst FC.
From shouting — to trusting.
From pressure — to passion.

Parents cheer for the striker who scores 1 out of 8. But the keeper who stops 7 out of 8 is ‘not good enough’. This isn’t about football. This is about the weight we put on the smallest shoulders.

Goalkeepers don’t just stop shots. They carry pressure. And when that pressure comes from the sidelines, not just the pitch, it’s not just unfair. It’s harmful.

🔊 Let the kids play. Let them be kids.

Shouting. Arguing with the ref. Criticizing every mistake.
The stands are supposed to be a place of support — not stress.
Kids don’t grow stronger by being humiliated.
They grow through encouragement, patience, and love.

📌 If your child looks at the bench more than the ball — something is wrong.

They don’t need a sideline coach.
They need a parent who claps, smiles, and says:
➡️ “I love to watch you play.”

Let’s change the game — not just on the field, but in the stands too.
