FSN Magazine Ingredient Spotlight : Nucleotides

Nucleotides are featured as the guest “Ingredient Spotlight” in the latest issue of Functional Sports Nutrition (FSN) magazine (www.targetpublishing.com Mar/April issue out now).

The article discusses nucleotides in general, the body’s wide-ranging demand for them, their relevance to the immune system in todays ongoing/post Covid world. It explores the move away from nucleotide rich foods in modern or restricted diets, the cases for nucleotide ‘conditional’ essentiality and the need for dietary nucleotide supplementation.
