Thank you CNR? (Citi Newsroom) for the feature. The Ghanaian Doctors and Dentist Association – UK (GDDA-UK) has donated PPE worth GHS 52, 500 to the Lekma and Yendi Municipal Hospitals.

The Association also donated sanitizers to the Ledzokuku Constituency in the Greater Accra Region.

The donation was made on behalf of the President of the Association, Dr. William Kedjanyi at a ceremony attended by the Deputy Minister for Health, Okoe Boye who said the association’s donation was in response to the COVID-19 pandemic and the desire to help frontline workers in Ghana.

Joseph Essuman Quansah is the President of the Ghanaian Social Workers Union. Joseph holds MA in Social Work from the University of Leicester, a Bachelor of Arts degree (Economics and Law) from the University of Science and Technology in Kumasi, Ghana (and a Diploma in Estate Management from the University of Science and Technology, Kumasi, Ghana.
Joseph is currently undertaking a PhD social work student with Bristol University and has a wide ranging experience in all aspects of children and family practice, underpinned by a sound understanding of issues of race, culture and diversity. He has extensive knowledge about the specific needs of Black and ethnic minority communities and is passionate about education and empowering these communities.

SPEAKER PROFILE
Dr Jasani is a respected dentist with 14 years of experience who owns two dental practices in Southwest London, ad who also works at St George's Hospital. He has completed further training in Endodontics and works receiving referrals from other practices, and has worked with the local dental hospital receiving difficult Endodontic cases for them.He is also an experienced teacher at Post Graduate level, being responsible for teaching endodontics to the whole of South East England's newly graduated dentists , and he also teaches in other courses in all the main teaching hospitals in London.

He is married with two children, and his main passions in life are family, first and foremost, music and photography.
