I was inspired by my allergy and eczema prone girls, to create a range of completely natural and organic products they could use to soothe and repair their inflamed and irritated skin.
They had both suffered terribly with eczema and allergies from birth, endless doctors’ appointments and even late night trips to A&E. Having always had dry skin and sometimes psoriasis myself, I was looking everywhere for something completely natural, to help ease our skin flare-ups and lock in moisture (something which is crucial for eczema suffers). But I didn’t want to use a product with a long ingredient list including synthetic chemicals, preservatives, sulphates and parabens.
At the same time, I visited a beekeeper friend, and she told me about the incredible natural properties and benefits in beeswax. Revered by our ancestors for its magical properties – beeswax is anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, edible, naturally aromatic, it burns cleanly, is non toxic and 100% natural.
BEESWAX CANDLES
At the same time, there were stunningly aromatic beeswax candles burning, completely free from toxic paraffin wax and synthetic fragrance oils, which the majority of the big candle brands used, and I was inspired to start experimenting, not only by creating The 100% Beeswax Candle, but looking into how this wonderful wax could work in skincare, considering it’s loaded with natural anti-fungal, antibacterial and antimicrobial properties.
And so BATCH #001 was born – creating products which are 100% ethically sourced, cruelty free and made using all natural and organic ingredients.
ORGANIC BEESWAX BALMS
Every ingredient in our ORGANIC BEESWAX BALMS is organic, with the finest ingredients nature has to offer.
Including hero ingredients, Eco Cert Prickly Pear Seed Oil , Organic Apricot Kernel Oil, Raw Coconut Oil, Unrefined Shea Butter, and ethically sourced Organic Beeswax, which work hard to inject and lock in moisture, soothe, hydrate, protect and rejuvenate. They provide a megadose of moisture to combat super dry skin, including eczema, dermatitis and psoriasis, and are packed with vitamin E, essential fatty acids, antioxidants, polyphenols, amino acids and vitamin K, plus anti-bacterial, anti-fungal and collagen boosting properties.
SALT & OIL BATH SOAKS
Our deeply relaxing SALT & OIL BATH SOAKS use certified Dead Sea Salts and Pink Himalayan Salts, containing 84 essential minerals, which need to be replenished daily, combined with organic essential oils to help soothe dry and flaky skin, combat stress and promote a good night’s sleep.
THE 100% BEESWAX CANDLE
The beeswax in THE 100% BEESWAX CANDLE is sourced from beekeepers, who cherish and treat their bees as nature intended and who are on a mission to save the honeybee, which is in decline. The candle jars are made from glass, with a wooden lid, the candle box is FSC Certified and everything is completely recyclable. The candle labels are letter-pressed produced by a small maker in Yorkshire, with handmade wicks from the oldest wick manufacturer in the UK.
PACKAGING
All of our packaging, including product and shipping packaging, is either recycled or recyclable.
