Release Holistics Christmas Opening Hours and Gift Vouchers.

I will be open for my last day of treatments before Christmas at Harts Barn Craft Centre Tuesday 23rd December and then again at Harts Barn Craft Centre after Christmas on Tuesday 30th December.

For anyone really wanting to make the most of their Christmas break, Deep Tissue, Swedish and Myofascial release massage can really help to facilitate deep relaxation and healing, during this time when your body craves deep rest after a busy winter period.

Calling all tradesmen and manual workers! Having worked an intensely physical Tree Surgery job for over 10 years, I have developed a strong awareness for the huge amount of physical stress and strain we put our bodies through when we work a physical job. Long working hours with repetitive movements, lifting heavy weight, very often in awkward positions and not able to rest adequately due to time pressures are just some of the factors which put our bodies under massive stress which can result in chronic discomfort, aches, pains and torn tissues or worse.

Discount Massage Appointments Now Available for Low Income Clients.

I recognise that many people are currently struggling financially and arguably many of those who are struggling, are the most in need of therapeutic bodywork. Many people are not able to afford massage work either because they don’t consider it a necessity or because they literally can’t afford anything beyond their basic needs.

One of the main reasons I started doing massage professionally was so that I could help people and put something back into my community. So to this end, every Tuesday I am now offering 1 x 60min low cost massage treatment specifically for those who can’t afford full price treatments. These will be available every week at Harts Barn Craft Centre on a 1st come 1st served basis anytime from 10am up until 5pm and will cost just £30.

If you would like to book one of these low income appointments, please message me directly to briefly explain your situation and why you think you are eligible and we can take it from there.

These will be given to people at my own discretion and will be based on an honesty system, so please only enquire if you are genuinely struggling on a low income.

Massage Oil or Wax?

Through my increasing work with Myofascial Release techniques during my massage treatments, I have started using Songbird Massage Wax either exclusively or alongside almond massage oil.

My primary reason for using massage wax over oil is because it provides more grip on the skin, which allows the more subtle holds and tissue stretches which I use for Myofascial release. Another benefit of using wax is that it is less oily and it also contains many beneficial natural products such as Beeswax, Arnica and various essential oils for both therapeutic scent and medicinal properties which they provide when applied to the skin.

Almond massage oil also has many beneficial properties including skin moisturising, anti inflammation and Vitamin E, which is highly beneficial for skin repair. It is also known for its relaxing properties, helping to reduce stress when absorbed through the skin.

Either option will give you multiple benefits without any toxic ingredients or unpleasant side effects.
