December My Little Tinkers and the playgroup had our decorations we had made on the RAF Boulmer tree at St Michael's church in Alnwick:-) i went to take pictures as I was very proud! We did lots of christmas crafts, cards, biscuits etc for the festive period ❤️

On the run up to Christmas, we have been learning about how our letters and parcels get sent and delivered. The Little Tinkers have had lots of fun in their very own post office, reading lots of books about letters and today we got to help our postman Russell to deliver a few little bits, scan stephs parcel and raided the post van!

The Tinkers were over the moon and think Russell is the absolute best!!

This week we have been learning about Remembrance day and poppies. We have made lots of our own poppies for a poppy board where we will display our work at the Beacon this Sunday after the remembrance day parade!

We also enjoyed looking at all the poppies around Longhoughton on our travels 😊

This week we helped to pack boxes for Military Personal here at RAF Boulmer who will be away from their families over christmas. The boys helped the Boulmer welfare team and the housing team to pack 45 boxes!

I can't recommend Stephanie enough. She has a wonderful ability to connect with children and understands the needs of each one, including those with special educational needs. Her experience with SEN has been invaluable, and it's clear that she genuinely cares about helping children thrive.

My son settled in so well with Stephanie, and I believe a big part of that was due to the huge effort she made to make him feel welcome. She even made sure to have his favorite toys out when he came around, which meant so much to us. Not only is she skilled and attentive, but she's also incredibly flexible and accommodating and has had our son at short notice before. Her warm and welcoming approach creates a safe, engaging environment where children can be comfortable and supported. Highly recommend to any parent looking for a caring, experienced, and dependable childminder.
