Emergency blood supplies are critically low. To make sure no dog goes without the blood they need this winter, we need to collect 800 units before Christmas 🎄

Negative blood is vital as it can be given to any dog in an emergency so demand is always high 🚨

November's star of our 2026 lifesaver calendar is powered by squeaky teddies and a love of David Attenborough! 🧸🥰

Say hello to Harley the 4 year old Rottweiler 🌟

Harley is a bundle of joy who lives just a stone’s throw from the beach in Ayr with her best friend and owner, Shaun 🌞

Her favourite things include squeaky toys, long walks, and watching nature documentaries (David Attenborough is her top pick, of course!) 🐶

Shaun told us: 'I had never even given a second thought to dogs giving blood but a friend told me about Pet Blood Bank and I jumped at the idea. Because I had a heart condition when I was younger, I can’t give blood so I thought Harley could take up the mantle for the household.'

Harley began donating in 2025 at Dalblair Vets and has already helped save up to 12 other dogs in need 🩸
