Empowher at Equality Action

Empowher at Equality Action A project funded by the Big Lottery Fund to empower women of South Asian background living in Loughborough to lead healthier and more active lifestyles.

Building on the success of our Positive Minds project, we are delighted to be taking this forward with our EmpowHER project supported by the National Lottery Community Fund. The key 4 outcomes for the project are:

Lead active healthier lifestyles

Become more independent and play an active role in the community and the life of their families

Improve their skills, confidence and self-esteem
and become aware of services that are available to them and their families

Increase their cultural integration
