Love Music Hate Racism Luton: Bringing our diverse community together through the power of music. It is vital that everyone gets involved however they can.

Music proves that cultures blend beautifully, creating unity and strength. It inspires positivity and celebrates the richness of our multicultural society. The LMHR campaign has a renewed importance with the increase in fascism, racism, islamophobia, antimigrant and homophobia. We think its time to reignite our national movement against racism through music. We will be hosting Local Music and arts events celebrating multicultural unity, opposing racism and those who seek to divide us. Whether you are a performer, or just a supporter you can get involved and support the antiracist movement through Love Music Hate Racism Luton.

Tomorrow is about coming together — to celebrate culture, share truth, and honour the strength of our community.

In Luton, we are more than statistics. We are activists, learners, creators; we are mothers, fathers, youth; we are heritage and future. Together we reclaim narratives that have too often been written for us, and we amplify those we are writing ourselves.
It’s a day to reflect, connect, and be proud 😊

Storyteller, musician, poet, and filmmaker — Nadeem’s work channels themes of belonging, estrangement, and identity with potent streams of consciousness. His debut album OFFSHORE (out now on Moshi Moshi Music) has been championed by BBC 6Music, NPR, The Fader, and more, praised for its energy, resilience, and big choruses.

Fresh off stages like The Great Escape, Supernormal and his sold-out London headline show, Nadeem now joins us in Luton — bringing Black identity, cultural displacement, and spiritual resilience to life through unforgettable soundscapes.

A Palestinian rapper and spoken word artist, born in the UK and rooted in resistance. Speit uses his voice to shine a light on the suffering of his family and community under the illegal occupation, bringing raw truth and freedom to the stage.

Join us this Saturday at the Painters Arms as Speit brings his powerful words and energy to Luton. This is music with purpose — a voice for freedom.

From heartfelt shoutouts to our communities, to love for the diversity, creativity and connection — this town has so much to offer.
