Nutrition 101 🥘

At the MVMT room we want to help our members and clients through every area of health and fitness

We don’t expect you to wing it and hope for the best … we want to provide the support and guidance that will actually get you to your goals

Because whether you just want to tone up , loose some unwanted weight or build some new muscle … it all comes down to consistency over time ; for your daily movement habits , weekly training sessions and sustainable eating & diet protocols

It’s our job to help you cut through the confusion that is nutrition and diet

Because we understand everyone has different needs and food preferences , we don’t want to tell you what to eat ...

But learning how to manage your calorie and macronutrient intake alongside learning the basics of improving daily habits and implementing more optimal eating stratergies

And alongside our what’s app groups and daily support , we use with our members to set their specific eating goals (calories / macros) and training routines to cut the confusion and ensure we are moving in the right direction

So you can train , and enjoy your food without having to make unneccrcary sacrifices

We also host a semi regular nutrition and weight management class where we can sit down with our clients & members , run through nutrition basics and then a Q & A to ensure everyone is feeling cig ident towards their own nutrition and goals

This is a nutritionist lead class where you can come and learn the basics of Nuneaton for health and weight management

This is a free class we provide to all our members on the MVMT membership

Kate has worked through injuries, turned up on good days and bad and always out in the effort

We just guide the way , but without our dedicated members we wouldn’t be where we are !

is now going through yoga teacher training with the goal of being able to help people move and feel better and spread everything she has learned from principles of strength & mobility training ,bio - mechanics & mvmt practice’s, pain management and injury rehabilitation 🤌

She will make the best yoga teacher, and hopefully will do a few classes for us (if we are lucky 😂✅)

Whether you want to level yourself up or just come along to move, feel and look better

For years we’ve been told to be careful of our backs. Your back is a group of muscles like any other body part.

Our back and spine is meant to be strong, flexible, bend and twist

Just like having sore legs the next day, sometimes we just have a sore back because we’ve used it

It’s all part of the process to being fitter, stronger and overall healthier than we we used to be

I agree, having that reassurance that what we are doing is correct can give us a real confidence boost to keep going

In short, exercise and feeling isn’t bad for you back… a weak, stiff back is bad for your back
