đź”´ Home Secretary: Bring the College of Policing & Lancashire Police Before Parliament Over the Flawed and Misleading Nicola Bulley Review
Please comment, sign and share my change.org campaign to hold people to account.
https://c.org/YQBNGXTNS6
I’ve today launched a Change.org campaign calling for the College of Policing, Lancashire Constabulary and former Lancashire Police & Crime Commissioner Andrew Snowden (now a Conservative MP) to be brought before the Home Affairs Select Committee to answer serious questions about the Nicola Bulley review and how my sonar evidence from Specialist Group International (SGI) was handled.
Shabana Mahmood Keir Starmer
UK Prime Minister UK Parliament
No family and no specialist brought in to help them should ever have to fight the system alone just to get the truth recognised.
This is about accountability, not revenge. Please act.
This is not about politics or point-scoring.
It is about truth, transparency and public trust.
Why this matters
From the documents and review itself:
• The College of Policing did not examine the full live sonar data I offered them.
• Instead, they relied on a small number of still images and the views of unnamed “experts” whose identities and credentials have never been disclosed.
• A closed, non-reportable press briefing was held with selected journalists before the review was published to discredit my sonar findings. I was given no right of reply.
• The review contains statements about me and my team Specialist Group International - SGI are, inaccurate, misleading or factually impossible, yet it has been treated as the final word and repeated across the media in the UK and internationally. Causing substantial international damage to me and my team at Specialist Group International (SGI)
This isn’t just about me or SGI.
It’s about:
• Nicola’s family, who were not shown the live sonar data at the time.
• Future families of the missing, who need to know that every piece of evidence will be taken seriously.
• The many honest police officers whose work depends on public confidence in policing and in genuinely independent reviews.
If inaccurate, unchallenged reports are allowed to stand, trust in policing and oversight will continue to erode.
If the facts are confronted openly, there is a chance to learn, improve and rebuild that trust.
What the petition asks for
The petition calls on the Home Affairs Select Committee to:
• Call the College of Policing, Lancashire Constabulary and Andrew Snowden to give evidence on how this review was conducted and how the sonar evidence was suppressed from the family and the public.
• Disclose the full material, “expert” inputs and correspondence used for the review.
• Ensure that future reviews are genuinely independent, evidence-based and accountable.
If you believe families deserve honesty, that evidence should be properly examined, and that those in positions of authority should answer fair questions in public, please sign and share.
