All I’ve done is sleep for the past week! I’m now in the peak of the effects of radiotherapy that finished last Friday, so my throat feels like someone is holding a blowtorch on it 😩 I’m venturing out now to our local farm shop, in my comfort blanket coat by Barbour, my necks better, I’m still on Ensure Plus medical grade shakes, and I can’t wait to eat food again! I miss curry at Eastern Revive our local restaurant and I miss home made Chilli Con Carne with grated cheese and pilau rice. I definitely miss a glass of rosè too! Hopefully not long to go!!

My hairs giving ‘fun boy three’ vibes 🤣 if you’re old enough you’ll know 😂 I’m 4 days post radiotherapy & chemotherapy and my neck is healing well, throat is sore but it’s healing, still on shakes. Feeling good, slightly tired because I’ve been out at the hospital for bloods & to see the consultant, other than that I’m all good!

Hi Cancer 🙌😘🖕🤣 Despite losing hair at the back of my neck, and despite having radiotherapy burns on my neck, not to mention I haven’t ate food since Christmas Day… I’ve managed to get myself a bit glammed up to go to the vets later on today 😂 that will be the first time I’ve left the house since Friday. 😩 I can’t wait till I’m off these meds and can drive my car.

I’ve been admitted to the hospital, my blood pressure keeps dropping when I stand up, so I’m having lots of tests and I’m being well looked after. I’ll still go to radiography in the morning, I’ll just be in a wheelchair 🦼 which will be interesting.

Current status is 5 hours of human plasma by drip. Apparently it doesn’t come from a human it just mimics it 🤷‍♀️ Anyway, it will make me feel better because I was almost fainting every time I stood up. I guess I was never going to finish week 6 without drama 🤣

At this point I’m over it all 😂 I just want this last week done so I can hibernate for a while and recover. I think I’ll use that time to go through audio that was captured at my last investigation with and ready for the next ep of my podcast 🙌👻👀

One week to go. Saw the prof that’s looking after me today, he said I’m doing really well, no sores in my mouth, no inflammation there at all. My throat is slightly sore when I swallow, but I can eat all normal food. I’m not eating much though because a lot still tastes weird. Cuddles with Tinkerbell help, she’s a warrior cat 🐈‍⬛ she was homeless living on the streets, she’s around 10 years old now, she’s spent 8 years with us. She’s still a bit feral hunting rabbits, I’ve had cats my whole life though so I’ve managed to bring that soft side out of her. We’re partners in crime together, she’s got my back I’ve got hers 💪 🖕
