Being a late diagnosed, millennial woman, I am working on bridging the gap between late diagnosis and living your best life with your new found neurospicy brain knowledge! Finding out that I have ADHD at 29 Years old changed my life completely! Before I was in a constant cycle of overwhelm & burnout, feeling stuck, lacking confidence and feeling miserable! I thought I was lazy, and couldn't understand why I was 'struggling' all the time to just live my life & be happy - and experiencing low confidence, mental health challenges and somedays I couldn't leave the house! Once diagnosed, I found there was a huge gap in support & understanding to help people start living and working with their neurospicy brain! The positive transformation it had on my life changed the game for me... and I had to help other people just like me to do the same! So if you want support from someone who gets it... I am your girl! I founded my business to create a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for neurodivergent individuals. Sunday Selfcare reminder AuDHD Lovelies! Autumn Leaves, Colours and Trees!

Tomorrow is exciting - I turn 33... It's a strange chapter for me, but also a welcomed one. Reminding myself I have plenty of time for life. I might not be following the same path as others but it doesn't make mine wrong. Each year I learn lessons that have made life better and better!

I've got this - fluffy puppy by my side :)

✨👟 Sensory Wins & Self-Validation: The Converse Story 👟✨
As a late-diagnosed Autistic & ADHD girlie, I’ve been having so many aha! moments lately — the kind that make everything finally click.

For example… I’ve always been very particular (okay, protective 😅) over my stuff. When I was about 10, I saved for an entire year to buy my first ever pair of Converse — black with red stitching, my two fave colours. ❤️🖤 They cost £32 back then (wild, right?!) and I was absolutely dead set on them.

Now, how did my impulsive ADHD brain manage to save that long? Because hyperfocus and motivation, baby! 🔥
I finally bought them on holiday in Newquay, Cornwall, and they instantly became my personality shoes. I wore them everywhere.

Then, life happened. I got older, started masking more, and stopped wearing what I really liked. Fast forward to a couple of years ago — I bought myself a new pair. Not quite the same, but just as comfy, and they’ve become my sensory-safe, happy shoes.

That moment reminded me of something powerful:
We deserve to reconnect to the things that make us feel like us — whether it’s shoes, clothes, textures, colours, or styles that feel good on our skin and our soul. 💖

For my fellow AuDHD lovelies — buying the same comfy clothes or shoes in multiple colours? Totally valid. That’s not weird, it’s regulation.
🪡 Reconnect to what you love. Reclaim your comfort. And let your true self step out — in style. 👟✨

✨ The ADHD Burnout Cycle ✨ It’s a thing. 🙃

We don’t mean to be impulsive, or drain our bank accounts, but sometimes that “treat yourself” moment or “get everything done now” mindset hits HARD… and before we know it, we’re staring at the “Your payment has been processed” email wondering what just happened?! 😅

Here’s the truth 👉
ADHD brains crave dopamine — and spending can give us a short-term hit of it! Combine that with all-or-nothing thinking, executive dysfunction, and big life changes (hello moving home, puppy, or work changes 🐾✨) — and suddenly, we’ve spent a week’s energy and a month’s budget.

But you can break that burnout-spend cycle 💪
🧠 Try these detective-approved hacks:
Brain dump before you buy → make a list of wants vs. needs.
Take stock + declutter → you might already own what you’re about to double-purchase!
Pause before purchase → give it 24 hours or talk it out with a “Buying Buddy.”
Create an anti-splurge reward list → reward progress, not impulse.
Set realistic budgets → include dopamine-friendly spending within reason!
The goal isn’t to never spend — it’s to spend with awareness, not burnout. You deserve stability and joy, not the guilt hangover that follows an impulsive dopamine spree 💕

🧠💻 Your Workspace = Your Brain Space

A client and I were chatting this week about how important it is to have a comfy, supportive workspace — but also how flipping tricky it can be when your AuDHD brain is trying to balance:
✨ The need for tidiness (but hello, executive dysfunction)
🎨 The craving for colour and personalisation
💼 Wanting it to still feel professional
🌀 And the ever-changing sensory and emotional needs day-to-day

It’s a constant detective game to find what works — and spoiler alert: it changes! Some days your brain wants calm neutrals and quiet, other days it needs dopamine décor, a scented candle, and your fave playlist blasting.

Here are a few Quick Stitch Tips to help you switch it up based on how your brain and body feel:
🪴 Have “workspace zones” — a calm one for focus, and a comfy one for creativity
🎧 Use sound or scent to set the vibe (brown noise, incense, or a nostalgic playlist)
🧺 Keep a “reset basket” — dump clutter in it midweek, sort later when you have the spoons
💡 Rotate desk items — fresh visuals = fresh dopamine
☕ Keep hydration + snacks nearby (because let’s face it, forgetting to eat is a sport)

Finding balance as an AuDHD human is never one-size-fits-all — but that’s where I come in! I help you figure out your unique version of “functional & fun.”
If you’re ready to build a workspace (and life) that actually works for your neurodivergent brain — I can help 💖

☕✨ Sunday is for Hot Chocolate & Soft Resets

It’s been a week, and honestly? My brain and body are both screaming for a slow day.
So today’s plan: hot chocolate, cozy clothes, and time to reconnect with the people who fill my cup (without draining my spoons). 💛

Sometimes self-care isn’t deep work — it’s a quiet moment, a warm mug, and permission to stop doing for a while.
If your week’s been a rollercoaster too, this is your reminder that rest is productive, and connection doesn’t always mean socialising — it can mean just being with your favourite people (or pups 🐾).

Here’s to slow Sundays, soft energy, and small joys that reset our nervous systems. 🌿

🌙✨ “Who said you can’t start over in your 30s?”

Because you can — at any age. 💛
Especially when you’ve been late diagnosed with ADHD or AuDHD.
You’re not behind. You’re not broken. You’re just finally learning to play life on the right difficulty setting — the one designed for your brain, your body, and your nervous system.
Sometimes a full reset isn’t failure — it’s freedom.

You’re allowed to:
🌿 Reframe your story
🌿 Redefine your success
🌿 Rebuild a life that actually fits
🌿 Reset your pace — slower, softer, smarter

Starting over in your 30s or any age isn’t starting from scratch.
It’s starting from experience. ✨ You know enough about what doesn't work. Let's look at what could!

So if you’ve been waiting for a sign that it’s okay to begin again — this is it.

💬 “The Non-Negotiables… AuDHD Edition 💛”
What’s one thing you’re treating as non-negotiable for yourself right now? 👀
Because let’s be real — when you’re AuDHD, your energy, focus, and emotional bandwidth fluctuate faster than a TikTok trend. One day you’re thriving, the next you’re overstimulated, exhausted, and eating crisps for dinner (again 😅).

That’s why I’ve started asking myself:
👉 What’s one thing I can do today to make life a little easier for me — not harder?
It doesn’t have to be massive. It might be:
✨ Saying no without guilt
✨ Prepping lunch the night before
✨ Scheduling downtime like it’s a meeting
✨ Keeping the same hoodie on rotation because it’s comfy and smells safe
✨ Remembering to drink some actual water 💧

Little habits. Big difference.
Protect your peace, regulate your nervous system, and honour your limits.
That’s not selfish — that’s sustainable self-care.

So, tell me — what’s your non-negotiable right now? 👇

New Blog Post Alert: Ever felt that “meh” feeling where life looks fine, but you just can’t feel happy?

You’re not alone. Anhedonia — the struggle to experience joy — is common in ADHD and Autism due to dopamine dysregulation, emotional processing delays, and burnout.

In this post. In this Confessions of an ADHD Coach Blog Post, I unpack what it is, why it happens, and how we can find small sparks of contentment again while healing. Check it out - link in the comments below!

🧠✨ “You’re not too busy to take a break — you’re just too overwhelmed to remember you need one.”

Let that sink in for a sec 👇
As AuDHDers, we’re masters of pushing through. We hyperfocus. We people-please. We chase dopamine. We forget that our brains, bodies, and nervous systems are running a marathon… every single day. 🏃‍♀️💨

But here’s the truth:
💥 Rest isn’t a reward — it’s regulation.
💥 Breaks aren’t lazy — they’re maintenance.
💥 Your needs aren’t optional — they’re essential.

So today’s reminder:
You are never too busy to take a break.
You just need permission — from yourself — to stop, breathe, stretch, or sit in silence for five minutes. That’s how we prevent burnout before it hits. 🌿
Because your brain doesn’t need more productivity — it needs peace. 💛
