🌟 Weekly Update! 🌟

What a fantastic week we had last week! ✨

🎭💃 Theatre Trip:
Residents enjoyed a wonderful outing to see The Rhythm of Dance—full of music, colour, and incredible performances. Lots of smiles all around!

🎲🧩 Games Session:
Our games afternoon brought plenty of fun, laughter, and friendly competition. Great for keeping minds active and spirits high!

🎨✨ Arts & Crafts:
Everyone got creative making beautiful Christmas decorations, ready to add some festive cheer around the home. 🎅🎄

🌿🪴 Gardening Session:
A relaxing time working with plants and greenery—great for well-being, connection, and a sense of purpose. 🌼

🧘‍♀️💜 Namaste Session:
Calming touch, soothing lighting, and gentle relaxation created a peaceful space for comfort and connection.

Moments like these remind us how important engagement, creativity, and companionship are for well-being and happiness. 💖

Last week at Wishmoor 💙

It’s been a wonderful week full of reflection, love, and new memories 🌺

🐮 We enjoyed a lovely trip to The Little Owl Farm Park, where residents had the chance to meet some adorable animals and spend special time with loved ones ❤️

🕊️ We also marked Remembrance Sunday with a meaningful visit to the National Memorial Arboretum — a time to remember and give thanks to all who served. 🌹

🐾 And to top it all off, there were lots of smiles and cuddles during pet therapy with a very fluffy visitor 🐶💞

Bonfire Night with a bang! 💥🔥

We had a fabulous evening – even with the poor weather 🌧️
Our residents loved the fireworks 🎆 and cosy warmth from the fire pit 🔥

We had an absolutely fabulous time at our pumpkin party! 🎃✨
Spirits were high, the laughs were rolling, crafty hands were busy, treats were delicious and the smiles were priceless 💛🧡🤗

Thank you to everyone who joined in, dressed up, baked, created, carved and celebrated with us – what a night! 👻🕷🧁🎨

Now… time to reset and get ready for BONFIRE NIGHT this week! 🔥🧨
Can’t wait for round two of cosy autumn fun!

🌟 Trip to Elan Valley! 🌟

What an absolutely gorgeous day we had exploring the Elan Valley 🏞️✨
The views were out of this world — with spectacular viewpoints, waterfalls, and autumn colours all around 🍂🌿🌈

We enjoyed plenty of fresh air, laughter, and lovely conversations sparked by the beautiful surroundings 💬💖
It was extra special to share the day with our friends from Blossom House - Residential Care Home — making memories together and soaking up the scenery 🌤️👭

A truly perfect day full of smiles, friendship, and unforgettable moments 💕

🧡 Weekly Catch-Up! 🧡

Last week, our residents continued working on their beautiful memory boxes 🖼️ — these will be displayed outside each resident’s bedroom door.
Memory boxes are a wonderful tool for those living with dementia, helping to spark recognition, encourage conversation, and bring comfort by showcasing treasured memories and personal items 💭💖

Alongside this, we enjoyed some creative arts and crafts sessions 🎨 making pumpkin decorations 🎃 in preparation for our upcoming Pumpkin Party! 👻🍂
To finish the week, a relaxing pamper session — a little self-care and TLC goes a long way 💅🧖‍♀️

These moments remind us of the importance of meaningful activities, creativity, and relaxation in supporting both emotional well-being and connection 🌈✨

🎅✨ Christmas Craft Stall Alert! ✨🎅
We’re excited to share that Wishmoor will have its very own stall at the Malvern Artisan Craft Market this Saturday, October 25th, at Lyttelton Well Hall, Church Street, Malvern (10am–3pm) 🎁🎨

We’ll be selling a wonderful range of Christmas crafts, cards, wreaths, cakes, sweets, and keyrings — many lovingly handmade by our talented residents 💕🧵🍰

Come along, enjoy the festive atmosphere 🎄🎅 and support our residents fund, with all proceeds going directly to them 💖

🌟 Weekly Update 🌟
Out and about again last week! 🎳 Our regular bowling trip — loved by all — brought out everyone’s competitive side 😄👏 Great fun and fantastic exercise too! 💪

We also enjoyed a lovely pub lunch 🍽️🍻, some homely chores 🧹 that always bring a sense of purpose and pride, a beautiful scenic trip 🌲🌄 followed by a cozy warm drink ☕🧣, and we even celebrated a very special lady’s birthday 🎂🎉💐

It’s all about the importance of staying active, social, and making every moment count 💛✨

🍁 Weekly Round-Up at Wishmoor 🍁

Here are just a few of the lovely things that kept us busy last week! 🎶✨

🎹 Dan the Pianist joined us for a wonderful singalong — plenty of smiles and toe-tapping tunes all around!
🎨 We also got creative making some pretty impressive autumnal web-hanging features 🍂🕸️ filled with colour, leaves, and laughter.

It’s always heartwarming to see everyone enjoying themselves, connecting, and expressing creativity — a true reminder of the importance of activity, engagement, and joy in everyday life 💕
