What is person-centred therapy and how can it help me?

Person-centred psychotherapy profound characteristic is that it is non-directive whereby you decide what to explore in the sessions. It is not my role to advise or to try to fix your difficulties, I am here to help you understand your emotions and behaviours, so that you can learn to manage and gain a better insight. In addition I can help you to gain a greater perspective into yourself. It is expected of me to demonstrate empathy, congruence and unconditional positive regard so that you feel safe to share those difficult thoughts, feelings and actions you are experiencing.
