Your Shadows Aren’t the Enemy 💫

When I say “Your shadows hold so much wisdom,” it means that the parts of ourselves we often avoid.. the fears, insecurities, regrets, or emotions we label as “bad”.. actually carry important truths about our needs, boundaries, and past experiences.

Your shadows aren’t there to punish you; they’re there to reveal what’s been hidden.. what needs love, not rejection. When you approach them with curiosity instead of judgment, they often guide you toward the next level of self-awareness and healing.

✨Sometimes I think back to the little girl I once was.. the one who carried so much more than her small shoulders should have ever held. For a long time, I abandoned her.. I silenced her pain, ignored her needs, and tried to become someone “strong” by leaving her behind 😔

But healing taught me something different. It taught me that true strength is in turning back, reaching out, and holding the hand of that child within me. To listen to her voice. To give her the love, safety, and compassion she always deserved 🫂🫶🏼

This is the heart of inner child healing: becoming the person you needed when you were younger. Not waiting for someone else to save you, but showing up for yourself again and again.

Today, I hug her with all the love I once longed for.. and in doing so, I heal us both.
