Relaxed Loose Jaw = More Relaxed Cervix - WOW just WOW

In labour it’s important to remain relaxed - when we are tense or anxious we often hold tension in our jaw (and a lot of other muscles in our bodies) which might signal that we are holding tension in our cervix.
By loosening our jaw we are relaxing the muscles around our pelvic area.
How to practice:
✨sit down or lie down on your side - so that you are comfortable and supported
✨close your eyes
✨drop shoulders
✨release the jaw
✨breathe - making noises and opening up our vocal chords also helps - yes it’s good to make noise whilst in labour! Bring on the mooing!
