Healthcare Assistants / Carers Needed
We deliver care to people in their own homes to help them maintain their independence. Your role will be to assist and aid them with tasks that they may struggle with or need some assistance with. The roles include personal care like washing and dressing service users, continence care, assisting them with their medication, food preparation, light domestic duties and social visits.

The calls are usually 30, 45mins or an hour in length. We do not do 15-minute calls. We want to hear from you if you uphold the same principles we do of being caring, compassionate, warm-hearted, empathetic as well as sympathetic.

What we expect:
- Some experience of care either in a professional capacity or some life experience
- A can-do and flexible attitude
- Key attention to detail
- An organised approach to your work
- You must be able to drive and have access to your own vehicle

At Greenwood Health and Social Ltd we are recruiting for a Care Manager of a newly registered Homecare service based in Nottingham, Arnold

We are emerging in the home care market with aim of delivering premium quality homecare services from the very best carers. We are passionate about providing person-centred care to all the individuals we support, ensuring all clients and families feel confident with reliable, regular home visits from a carer they know and trust.

We take pride in our work ethics, where our support carers are at the forefront of everything, appreciating that without them the premium quality care would not be possible. Although we are a new service, the successful candidate will be fully supported every step of the way. We are looking for someone either with previous experience as a Care Coordinator or Care Manager looking to progress with strong commissioning knowledge and existing relationships . You will be passionate about leading care teams with strong communication and leadership skills.

Carrying out assessment of new or existing clients. Ensuring all allocated clients have a comprehensive care plan in place
Being responsible for the management and performance of care staff by providing induction, line management, supervision and support to a defined number of care workers
Support the management team with all aspects of team management including but not limited to: business development, recruitment, staff induction, training and disciplinary procedures and sickness absence
Contributing to the services quality assurance system by way of auditing, conducting observations and responding to residents feedback
Preparing rota’s in line with commissioned care hours
You will possess good time management skills and be IT literate.
Acting as the responsible person for the safe running of the care service in the absence of the Registered Manager
The successful candidate will need:

· A good understanding of CQC regulation and how to apply these in practice (Essential)

· Minimum 2 years experience within Domiciliary Care or Homecare services (Essential)

· Level 3 or above in Health & Social Care Adults (we welcome applicants working towards this) (Essential)

· Supervisory experience (Essential)

· Demonstrable, hands on experience in delivering care to adults (Essential)

· Developing and reviewing care plans in line with people’s needs and preferences (Essential)

· Experience of organising staff rotas and scheduling of care calls (Essential)

· Can-do attitude, excited by the opportunity to grow this new homecare service

· Full UK Driving License
