It’s no coincidence! Men are keeping things to themselves and it’s a killer!

Thankfully I’m fortunate and grateful to work with some incredible men in the therapy room, who aren’t letting social stigma prevent their personal growth.

All of whom at some point were nervous, sceptical if it would help, doubtful they could do it but are now reaping the rewards of processing life, understanding themselves, understanding their thoughts, understanding their behaviours, learning how to communicate and express themselves in a healthy way and working with their mind rather than fighting against it.

So a massive shout out to all my male clients - I have the upmost respect for each and every one of you for bucking the trend 🫡 and the DMs are always open if you want to join them

Behind bravado.

Behind silence.

But insecurity isn’t weakness — it’s just emotion with nowhere to go.
And when it’s never addressed, it gains power, quietly in the background.

A healthy mind shouldn’t come with a premium price tag!

That’s why I’ve made therapy affordable - so it doesn’t price people out.

Awareness is good. Access is better.

Awareness without access changes nothing. In fact, it can make things worse. Encouraging people to reach out but then realising they have to wait months or can’t afford it, is only going to fuel frustration.

World Mental Health Day is shining a light on emergency access. I’m shining it on PREVENTION. Emergency access matters — but prevention truly saves lives.

LINKS Wellness exists to make therapy affordable before it’s critical. Therapy isn’t meant to be the panic button — it’s meant to stop you reaching that point.

When therapy is affordable and accessible, people don’t have to wait until they’re in crisis to reach out.

might be raging outside but in here it’s calm, quiet and safe 🫣

🍂 The shift into autumn and winter can hit harder than we expect. Darker mornings, longer nights, and less sunlight all impact mood, energy, and motivation.

The good news? You don’t have to just “get through” the season. Small, consistent habits can help keep your mind strong:
✅ Get outside daily (even if it’s cloudy)
✅ Keep a steady sleep routine
✅ Move your body
✅ Stay socially connected

And remember — if low mood lasts more than two weeks or life feels overwhelming, reaching out for support is a strength, not a weakness.
