How has it been a whole week since Tattooed & Strong 2023? I think we can all agree it was an absolute belter of a weekend. Though the numbers were down quite considerably by usual T&S numbers, what was missing in quantity was certainly made up for in standard of lifting, atmosphere & platform enthusiasm. It was a real delight to watch everyone bring their A game with such professionalism and camaraderie. History was made on that platform, and each and every one of you played your part.
The running and setting up of T&S 23 were a huge team effort and I cannot thank everyone involved enough. It is humbling that our friends, some of whom have no powerlifting connections at all, are willing to give up so much of their free time to make this competition the most unique lifting event in the UK lifting calendar. So in true ‘Oscar’s style’:

I really want to give a personal special thanks to two people who went above and beyond last weekend. Trish & Gaz this would not have happened without you dedicating 5 days to picking up stuff up, dropping stuff off and then allllllllll the other bits you did in between (set up, weighing in, reffing, lifting to name just a handful)…..seriouusly folks they NEVER stopped so if you ever get a chance to by them a G&T then please do so.
There is no competition like Tattooed & Strong and it all happens because of the people above AND because YOU lifters choose this platform. AND WE NOT ONLY HAD DODGEMS BUT A FU***NG FERRIS WHEEL hahahahaha!
