Bowel cancer screening, made simple!

ColoAlert is an easy-to-use home test designed to check for early signs of bowel cancer, quickly and accurately.

In the UK, you’re usually not invited for the NHS bowel cancer test until 50, but cases are rising in younger people, and many are found too late.

ColoAlert works by checking for tiny traces of blood and any early warning signs in your DNA.

This means it can pick up changes before symptoms even start.

These kits are perfect for anyone experiencing symptoms or concerned about bowel cancer, because the earlier it’s caught, the more treatable it is.

This month, we’re offering £75 off for Bowel Cancer Awareness Month.

If something doesn’t feel right, or you just want peace of mind, now’s a great time to get checked 💛

Juggling family life and raising children in a digital world can be difficult, that’s why the government has updated guidance to help shape healthy screen time habits for little ones 📱

It focuses on balance, making sure screen time doesn’t replace sleep, movement, or time together. With growing awareness of how excess screen use can affect mood and concentration, even small, realistic changes can help!

It’s not about cutting screens out completely, but making safer swaps where you can💛

A special thank you to Alison for joining us at our 4th Poo Protest on Thursday 💛

This one was especially personal.

Alison Aspinall was diagnosed with stage four bowel cancer in 2021 after initially putting her symptoms down to IBS and stress. She waited for her routine screening at 60 - not realising how serious things already were.

Looking back, she shares a powerful and honest reflection: “Once you get the diagnosis, you then think, I wish I’d have come sooner.”

Since then, Alison has faced major surgeries, chemotherapy, radiotherapy, and ongoing treatment for recurring disease. During her own journey, her husband Garry was also diagnosed with stage four re**al cancer. They supported each other through every appointment, every setback, and every milestone until Garry sadly died in 2025.

Five years on from her diagnosis, Alison continues treatment while embracing life with her family - including her first grandchild - and speaking openly about symptoms many people feel too embarrassed to discuss.

Her message is simple: Know your body. Don’t ignore changes. Push for answers. Early detection can save lives. Alison, thank you for your courage, honesty, and for raising awareness where it matters most!

We caused a 💩 show in Manchester!

Yesterday, we teamed up with to host a run club like you’ve never seen before...

To mark Bowel Cancer Awareness Month, 105 runners took over the city centre for a poo-shaped 5K, dressed as poos!

We definitely turned a few heads but between the laughs and confused looks, people stopped, stared, and (hopefully) heard the message.

When caught early, bowel cancer is treatable, but too many people still feel too embarrassed to talk about it.

So if it takes a 💩 show to break the taboo... we’re happy to lead the charge.

Huge thank you to everyone who ran with us, embraced the chaos, and made this impossible to ignore 💛

It’s official… today marks our 4th annual Poo Protest 💩

And this year, we’ve got the runs! 🏃‍♂️💨

We’re taking on a poo-shaped 5K around Manchester to raise awareness for bowel cancer, because April is Bowel Cancer Awareness Month!

To celebrate, we’re looking back at the last 3 years of our poo protests... from raised eyebrows to real conversations.

Bowel cancer is treatable when caught early, but too many people delay getting checked because it feels too taboo to talk about.

Know the signs and talk about your poo because it could save your life.

Manchester, we’re back - year FOUR of our Bowel Cancer Awareness campaign.
And yes... bowel cancer is the fourth biggest cancer.
So we’re showing up bigger than ever.

This year, we’re swapping protests for movement - taking over the streets with a run club like you’ve never seen before 💨

And because we can’t resist a challenge (or two)...
💩 Spot the hidden poos in the graphic
Or spot us out in Manchester this Thursday IRL

We’re raising money for Bowel Cancer UK - head to our link in bio to get involved!

“I think it’s really important to take control of your health.”

For Rita, it was about finding healthcare without the faff. No chasing results, no added stress. Just clarity, reassurance, and peace of mind.

That’s why she chose Pall Mall Medical for a breast ultrasound ahead of her breast reduction surgery.

Our ultrasound service is a non-invasive way to assess breast tissue for any lumps or abnormalities, using no X-rays or radiation - just safe, effective imaging when you need it most.

Looking to take control of your healthcare? Pall Mall is here for you💛

Bowel cancer is one of the most common cancers in the UK but spotting the signs early really make difference! 💩

Symptoms can be easy to overlook or put down to something else, which is why it’s so important to know what to look out for!

As Dr Tang says, “If caught early, it can usually be cured.”

Let’s keep the conversation going and break the stigma around bowel health this Bowel Cancer Awareness month 💛

Our annual Poo Protest is back… but this year, we’re doing things a little differently💩

This time, Pall Mall has the runs🏃‍♂️💨

We’ve teamed up with Blaze Run Club to hit the pavements of Manchester and raise awareness of the signs and symptoms of bowel cancer, because these conversations matter, and they shouldn’t be hard to have.

From changes in bowel habits to unexplained pain or bleeding, knowing what to look out for could make all the difference. The more we talk about it, the more lives we can help protect!

So we’re lacing up, speaking up, and running together to break the stigma around bowel health!

We’re running our butts off to beat bowel cancer 💩

Keep your eyes peeled on our socials for more info and how you can sign up!
