🎀 Wear It Pink 🎀

Today the team are joining thousands across the UK to support Breast Cancer Now by taking part in Wear It Pink 💗

This cause is especially close to our hearts. Our lovely Theresa was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2023 and has faced every step — from surgery and radiotherapy to ongoing treatment — with such courage and grace. We’re so proud of her and grateful to have her as part of our Leemings family 💗

Our Amelia has also seen first-hand the impact of breast cancer, after watching her mum’s journey. Amelia says, “My mum’s experience is a reminder that if you get regular checks and seek help early, the treatment and intervention can make all the difference.” 💞

We’ll be wearing our pinkest outfits, decorating the practice, and raising funds to help make sure that by 2050, everyone who develops breast cancer lives — and lives well.

This special young lady came to us for her eye test on what would have been her mum’s 40th birthday. 💔
She’s just lost her beautiful mum, who always brought her in for her check-ups.
We feel so honoured to be part of this important moment—she chose her new glasses with such strength, style, and a smile.
Mum would be so proud. ❤️🌈

We’ve been looking after Nick’s eyes since he was a young child—and on Friday, that long relationship may have helped save his sight.

He came to us with some unusual symptoms, and during his visit we diagnosed a detached retina, a serious condition that needs urgent attention. We’re so grateful he came in when he did—and so glad we could help.

He kindly shared this message about his experience:
