Hello, I am Ch’maine a certified psychotherapist and hypnotherapist with over 8 years of experience. I am dedicated to offering a compassionate, encouraging setting where clients can securely examine their individual struggles and create useful coping mechanisms for emotional health.

Each client will receive individualised care that is catered to their particular needs and objectives using my integrative approach.

I frequently conduct corporate events and deliver guest presentations. I am also a Licensed Champion with Menopause Experts Group (MEG) and offer coaching for Body and Mind Wellbeing.

We’ve had lots of new followers recently- so I wanted to properly say hello.

I’m Ch’maine, the face behind Calming Minds. I’m a psychotherapist and menopause specialist, and most of my work centres around helping people feel heard, understood and a little less overwhelmed by whatever they’re carrying.

At Calming Minds we offer psychotherapy, hypnotherapy, menopause support, workshops and retreats- practical, supportive spaces where you can show up exactly as you are.

What I’m most proud of though, is that it’s no longer just me. I work alongside some incredibly talented associates, and I’m constantly building relationships with brilliant practitioners and businesses who care about wellbeing as much as I do. The support here is collaborative- because no one person has to do it all.

You don’t need to be 'bad enough' to rest.

Somewhere along the way, many of us learnt that rest has to be earned… that we only slow down when we’re burnt out, overwhelmed, exhausted or at breaking point.

But what if rest wasn’t a last resort?
What if it was part of looking after yourself before things get too heavy?

Prevention matters too.

Taking time to pause, switch off, or simply sit quietly isn’t lazy, dramatic or indulgent. It’s often the exact thing that helps you stay well, think clearly, regulate emotions and avoid reaching complete overload.

You don’t need permission.
You don’t need a crisis.
You don’t need to justify needing space.

You’re allowed to rest when you’re functioning.
You’re allowed to rest when life feels 'fine.'
You’re allowed to rest simply because you’re human.

Sometimes the strongest thing you can do is slow down before your mind or body forces you to.

One of the most special parts of Rest & Relax Retreat is the incredible practitioners who help create the experience.

Each specialist has been carefully chosen for their warmth, knowledge and ability to create calm, supportive spaces. Guests joining us will have the opportunity to experience sessions with these amazing practitioners throughout the day.

We now only have ONE space remaining, and we honestly can’t wait to welcome everyone joining us. We feel incredibly grateful for the support this retreat has received.

Monday marked the final session of our Winter Wellness Programme– and honestly, I’m still taking it in.

What started as an idea to support people through the darker months turned into something really special. Week after week, people showed up. Not just physically, but emotionally. They shared, laughed, listened, and built connections that went far beyond “just a group session”.

I feel genuinely honoured to have held this space and to have been trusted with people’s stories, struggles, and growth. Watching strangers become familiar faces, and then something closer to a support system, has been incredibly moving.

This testimonial says it better than I ever could. Thank you to every single person who showed up, exactly as they were. You made this what it became.

And this definitely won’t be the last. 💚

Hello 👋

Just popping on to say hi and thank you for being here.

2026 has already started in the best way. The Winter Wellness Programme is in its final stretch after 11 weeks, and it’s been genuinely brilliant to witness the growth, honesty and connection within the group.

Behind the scenes, I’m putting the final touches to the March retreat (which I cannot wait for), and there’s lots more quietly taking shape for the months ahead. All upcoming events will be added to our website so everything’s in one easy place.

I’m also still getting the hang of Tik Tok… no dance videos just yet– I haven’t built up the courage– but give me time, I’ll get there. Probably.

Another place to be if you want to stay in the loop, is my Linktree (and I’d love to build that little community over there).

Thank you to everyone who’s shown up, shared, supported, booked, liked, messaged, or simply followed along. None of this exists without you.

This 12 week Winter Wellness programme has been something really special.

Watching people show up for themselves, build connection, and feel a little less alone through winter has been an absolute privilege.

The final session is on the 26th– and you don’t need to have attended any of the others to join. You can come exactly as you are.
