The weekly debrief // The last in Dubai 🇦🇪

Can’t really express how incredible the last 6 weeks have been of making memories, strengthening connections and building new ones with like minded people

Despite the negativity towards Dubai at the moment, our experience has been very different

I find it crazy that people say it’s a soulless place with no culture

I couldn’t think otherwise! It’s a place where there really are no limits, people (who you’ve just met) putting their hand out to help, where success is actually celebrated and encouraged, an incredible family atmosphere and where the fitness community is absolutely thriving

+ being in the sun does wonders to your mood… 😂

Our experience in Dubai has just further proven to and I that we really see a future here for ourselves and potential little ones 👀

It’s the life we want to live and work so hard for!

Just need to figure out how we get the little man here 🐶 Who tbf at least gives me something to look forward to coming back to the UK for… get ready for lots of Bruno spam

Stay safe those of in the UAE, see you very soon 👀

Hard decisions = More fulfilling life

Easy decisions = Less fulfilling life

My biggest fear is regret… life is too short to not at least try

Honestly, the life you want to life is on the other side of the hard decisions you keep putting off

Whether that is your health, your fitness, your job, your relationship, your environment… you are in control

From “I hate running” to a sub 2 hour Half Marathon at 42 👏🏼

When Flasum first joined us, he didn’t want to run

Even a 5km felt like a chore

He didn’t come in saying “I want to run a half marathon.”

He came in saying “I feel mentally and physically sh*tty and hate my beer belly”

Low confidence

Zero motivation

Gym felt boring

He’d try to get back on it every new Monday

Then end up back at square one

Late mornings

Missed workouts

Social events became excuses

Not because he’s lazy

Because he had no structure

And when you’ve tried a few times and keep failing…

You stop trusting yourself

That’s where he was

We didn’t start with a half marathon

We started with showing up

With healthier more realistic habits

Then a 5k park run

(Which he didn’t even want to do…)

Then his first 10k in sub 60 minutes

(Which he then went on to PB it a few months later)

And now?

Just ran his first ever half marathon in 1:52:31

Sub 2 hours 🔥

And not only this, he’s completely transformed his body!

Leaner

Stronger

More confident than he’s felt in years

But the biggest win and shift I’ve seen in Flas

Is that he’s proved to himself he’s capable of amazing things

This wasn’t motivation

This was about finally having the right structure,

The right education,

The right accountability,

And a decision to stop winging it

You’re an inspiration mate, well done and I know there’s even more to be achieved 💪🏼

If you’re 30+ and feeling stuck just like Flas was…

You don’t need another diet plan

You need clarity on what you need to implement to succeed forever

What people think running an online business looks like...

Vs.. What it actually looks like...

A whole lot of laptop time... (this was all the last week)

Community live mastermind call at 11pm

Team meetings

Back to back onboarding calls for 5 hours

Building out training plans

Doing the work that isn’t pretty behind the scenes.

This is what does my head in about the state of the fitness industry and ‘online coachs’

Most online coach’s I see are some juiced up weapon with a million followers pumping £20 coaching apps down peoples throats so they can basically put their feet up and do nothing

It’s funny how they have no evidence of client results or testimonials on their page... yet talk about how amazing their coaching is.

If you want to be become another number in a system? Don’t let me stop you

But if you want to actually build a human connection and feel part of a special community where you build a strong client to coaching relationship, where you will be guided through every single day to know exactly what you need to do for success in your health and fitness for the rest of your life? Then our doors are open…

And the thing is, we’re not a cheap. Our coaching is premium for a reason.

You’ve probably already spent hundreds (even thousands) of pounds on these type of cheap apps, group programs, on supplements, on gym memberships, yet still feel like “you’ve never cracked it”

With us, we are your answer to finally understand how to do this forever with no more confusion.

We are the best at what we do in helping men and women look and feel their best whilst smashing huge performance goals to be fit, fast and strong!

The EMA is an exclusive tight knit family where you are surrounded by individuals who raise each others standards, support one another and share the journey all as one.

Can I guarantee you results being ‘in the club’? I can’t guarantee anything

However, what I I can guarantee, is that you will make significantly less progress by not being inside the EMA… your move

I had this conversation with someone yesterday

One of my worst traits is that I really struggle to give myself a pat on the back and appreciate the present...

Inside, I always demand more, expect more and think that I am not doing enough.

When I was a teenager I was the complete opposite…

But I think thats why I am like I am today

Sounds pretty dark but I feel like I spent my whole child hood being a disappointment…

Every report card “could try harder”

Every parents evening “he gets distracted easily”

Detention after detention…

Failing my a levels

Crashing and writing off my car

Being told by my head of year in front of my parents “he won’t amount to anything”

I was underperforming in every area of my life.

I feel like this gave me a fire inside to prove a lot of people wrong that ever doubted me when I finally started growing up!

Which is a blessing in the way that I will never settle for average and want to push for the next thing.

But it’s a curse because I very rarely take time to ‘stop and smell the roses’

Finishing our day yesterday early to go for food with a couple friends at the Atlantis Royal (which has got to be one of the most stunning hotels I’ve ever seen)

And something I really need to appreciate more is being 100% in control of my own time and freedom being a business owner.

And the ability to work from anywhere in the world and still have the same impact!

It’s been an incredible 5 weeks out in Dubai experimenting if we would want to live here... the answer... undoubtedly

Happy Friday team, my lesson to you today: be more proud of yourself! 🫡

POV: You put in the work and you get rewarded

crushing a 10 minute Hyrox PB 4 months apart

Before Alex’s reached out to join the EMA, he was training 6, 7 and sometimes even 8 times per week…

But felt he had plateaued a lot with his fitness and strength

He felt like for the effort he was putting in, he should look and feel better (where he started in slide 2)

And yet… he still showed up, because that’s who he is

Alex didn’t need more motivation

He didn’t need new information

He needed clarity in the actions he needed to take to lead to optimal success

So in phase 1️⃣ we worked on building foundations, confidence and a lean body (where phase 1 finished in slide 3)

✅ Dropped 12lbs

✅ Hit a 10k PB (45:20) and a 5k PB (21:54)

✅ Added 7.5kg to his squat, now at 115kg

✅ Hit a 90kg bench 1RM, up 5kg

✅ Energy through the roof, confidence climbing every week

Into phase 2️⃣ He then ran his first Hyrox race in 1:26:57

A sub 90 minute right off the bat, impressive stuff!

But Alex… Alex wanted more

So under the intricate eye of coach we identified what areas Alex really needed to focus on

And built the program around his weaknesses to improve performance

➡️ Sled work and technique

➡️ Wall ball mobility and endurance

➡️ Running speed/efficiency under fatigue

➡️ And ironed out a new racing and fuelling strategy

THE RESULT?

A 10 minute PB in 4 months and even smashing his target time by 3 minutes

That is absolutely insane!

What an inspiration!!! Couldn’t be prouder 💪🏼

Summer 2018 vs Summer 2025

Person on the left:
❌ Trained purely for aesthetics
❌ Valued himself on how lean he could get
❌ Would thrash himself in huge calories deficits to achieve fat loss
❌ Would use cardio as a tool to burn calories
❌ Would have no energy in his workouts and feel incredibly weak

Person on the right:
✅ Trains to perform, feel and look his best
✅ Values himself on what his body is capable of doing
✅ Thrived in a very small calorie deficit to achieve fat loss for his wedding
✅ Uses cardio as a tool to be the fittest and healthiest version of himself
✅ Has sustained energy for his workouts and feels incredibly strong

My mindset is incomparable now to what it was back then

I used to think the only way to get lean was through extreme methods of cutting your social life, hating your training and being hungry all the time

Last summer I got into the best shape of my life for my wedding

And I did it by sustaining a 200-300 per day calorie deficit that enabled me to drop 6kg over 12 weeks whilst also having 2 friends weddings, 3 stag dos (one of which my own) and even running a Hyrox mens pro doubles sub 60 PB race…

I focused on eating the right foods at the right time to fuel my body correctly around my training and busy life.

The crazy thing is, back in 2018, I couldn’t walk around the shops without getting tired because I was zapped of all energy…

So I could have never imagined getting in great shape whilst smashing an event like Hyrox

And to be honest, if it leaves you feel more confused and asking yourself the same question…

“I’ve put in all this hard work, going to the gym 5 times a week, cut my drinking and food back… Yet I feel no better off about my body”

“How the flip do people build these lean athletic physiques, what am I doing wrong?”

I really do get it!

It’s time to stop suffering in silence and wishing something would change…

We are currently looking for men just like you who want to feel proud of their body when they look in the mirror and cross that finish line! DM me “PERFORM” to learn more
