We were delighted to receive a message yesterday from the actress Lisa Riley who recently purchased one of our arm slings following an injury.

Lisa told us:
“I want to tell you how wonderful your arm sling is… I bought it this week and it helped me so so much at work yesterday doing a full day meet and greet.”

It’s always great to hear how our products are supporting people in the real world… and occasionally the celebrity world too!

The BeneCare Poly Arm Sling Deluxe is a simple shoulder immobiliser designed for use following surgery or trauma, with the option to maintain the arm in a raised position.

Benecare Medical have an exciting opportunity as an Account Manager to cover Wales and the South West.

This is a field-based role suited to someone with a strong clinical background in casting and orthopaedics, who is ready to take the next step into a commercial and customer-focused position within a respected medical manufacturer and supplier.


About the role:
- Manage and develop relationships with hospitals and clinical teams across Wales and the South West.
- Support existing accounts while identifying new opportunities.
- Provide clinical support at Benecare events and workshops nationwide following a structured 6-month training period.
- Work towards the role of clinical and product specialist, representing Benecare Medical in a professional and trusted manner.


About you:
- Qualified in casting techniques.
- Previous experience working as an Orthopaedic Practitioner.
- Confident communicating with clinicians and healthcare professionals.
- Self-motivated, organised and comfortable working independently in the field.
- Willing to travel nationally when required for events and training.
- The candidate will need to live in Wales or the Sout. West to apply for the position.

🎄 Christmas Casting Competition Entry! 🎄

A huge thank you to the team at Cheltenham General Hospital for this incredibly inventive and detailed festive display! ✨

They’ve created a Christmas scene made using our foil casting tape wrappers, which is such a creative idea and brilliantly executed. The display is packed with festive favourites, including candy canes, gingerbread men, a post box, a big snowman, and a charming festive village, all set against some truly impressive snowy mountains.

One of the real stand-out features is the large nutcracker soldier made from casting boxes – a fantastic use of materials and a real statement piece.

An amazing effort from the whole team and a brilliant example of creativity in our Christmas Casting Competition.
