🔍 What It Is

It’s Austria’s biggest safety and emergency services showcase, organised by Stadt Wien (City of Vienna) and the Helfer Wiens (Vienna’s civil protection and emergency volunteers).
It’s fun, family-friendly, and surprisingly hands-on — it’s basically a mix between a festival, a rescue fair, and a kids’ adventure zone.

🧑‍🚒 What You’ll See
• Live demos from fire brigade, police, ambulance, mountain rescue, Red Cross, and army units.
• Vehicle displays — fire engines, ambulances, drones, helicopters.
• First aid and safety workshops — you can actually learn CPR or try using rescue tools.
• Kids’ activities — obstacle courses, games, “junior firefighter” certificates.
• Stage performances — music, interviews, and shows.
• The sign mentions musical stars from the Vereinigte Bühnen Wien (Vienna’s top theatre group).
• And the WOW-Show with Rolf Rüdiger and Robert Steiner — that’s a beloved Austrian kids’ act.

Super positive and community-focused. You’ll find food stalls, coffee stands, and tables where you can chill (like in your photo). It’s more “public service celebration” than strict exhibition — think of it as Vienna showing off its civic pride with charm and efficiency.
