I’m really excited to be offering a small, nurturing group of creative sessions for children — all run by a licensed Play Therapist 💛

These sessions are designed to give children a safe, calm space to explore, create and express themselves through play.

🧪 Slime Lab (Ages 4–9)

A fun, hands-on workshop where children can create and play with their own slime in a small, relaxed group setting. This will run over four weeks, building on their slime creation skills though can be attended as an individual session too

11:45-13:15: Quiet Thursdays
13:30-15:00: Quiet Thursdays
15:00-16:00: Closed for clean and reset
16:00-17:30: Quiet Thursdays
17:45-18:45: Bedtime winddown

What are Quiet Thursdays?
On Thursdays, we lower our capacity to just 10 children and 10 adults making it a great, quieter alternative to our standard sessions. From May, we will also have Canvas Play Therapy in our arts and crafts room on Thursdays running Play Therapy sessions. If you'd be interested in accessing play therapy please comment below 👇🏼

Can under 5s attend any other sessions?
YES! Little Burrowers is simply a safe space for our youngest visitors to play without the worry of older children potentially hurting them. We try to remove small items that may go in mouths and make our messy play taste safe. But under 5s are more than welcome in all of our other sessions ☺️

What is bedtime winddown?
Come in your pj's/ comfy clothes, have a warm drink, open play and then towards the end of the session, our staff will offer a storytime in the sensory room to help to bring energy levels down ready for going home to bed. These sessions are slightly shorter and therefore cheaper than our standard sessions and the perfect way to end a busy day.

I'd like to introduce myself again for some lovely new faces that have followed. My name is Gabi Herrett and it's lovely to meet you!

I’m a Play & Creative Arts Therapist, and I’m passionate about supporting children and young people to explore their feelings in a safe, nurturing space. Through play, creativity, and connection, I help children make sense of big emotions, build confidence, and feel more secure in themselves.

I work with a range of needs including anxiety, low self-esteem, neurodiversity (including ADHD/ASD), and emotional regulation. My approach is gentle, child-led, and tailored to each individual.
