We are starting childhood vaccination drop-in clinics on the first Tuesday of every month, starting on Tuesday 7th April. No appointment needed, just come along between 1.30 and 2.30pm.

Vaccinations are the safest way to protect your child against serious illnesses. If your child is due or overdue for any routine immunisations, pop in and see us.

If you’re unsure whether your child is up to date, contact reception and we’ll be happy to check for you.

🎄 Christmas & New Year Opening Hours 🎄

Please note that the practice will be closed on UK bank holidays only over the Christmas and New Year period:

📅 Thursday 25 December (Christmas Day)
📅 Friday 26 December (Boxing Day)
📅 Thursday 1 January (New Year’s Day)

We will be open as normal on all other days.

If you need urgent medical help when we are closed, please contact NHS 111, or in an emergency call 999.

🌍 World Antimicrobial Awareness Week (18–24 Nov)
2025 Theme: Act Now: Protect Our Present, Secure Our Future
Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) happens when germs stop responding to medicines, making infections harder — sometimes impossible — to treat. AMR is already affecting health care, animals and the environment.
Why it matters
• Harder-to-treat infections
• Longer illness and higher costs
• Risk to routine treatments and surgeries
• Fewer effective antibiotics for the future
How you can help
✔ Only use antibiotics when prescribed
✔ Take the full course
✔ Don’t share or save leftover antibiotics
✔ Keep vaccinations up to date
✔ Wash hands and practise good food hygiene
✔ Ask your doctor if an antibiotic is really needed
