Andys Man Club recently opened up in Market Harborough.

Andy’s Man Club Market Harborough is open tonight from 7-9pm at Market Harborough Rugby Club. Please arrive from 6:40pm to start at 7pm.

We hope to see more men tonight. If you are thinking about coming or are unsure. Please don’t worry. A facilitator will be there to greet you and talk to you. All our facilitators have experienced how coming on your first night feels, as they have walked through the door just like every other man that attends.

AMC has helped them, which is why they volunteer as facilitators. They want the men of Market Harborough and surrounding areas to benefit from the free support of this club.

Remember, don’t bottle things up as

We know that the festive time can be a time of joy...but we also know it's a time when our mental health is under more pressure than normal.

Here at RTR Market Harborough....we have that peer support space for sharing what we're going through. Sometimes that's acknowledging that things aren't right. It could be a deep conversation about something deeper and more challenging. Other times it's a moan about our day. Sometimes we're doing ok and are the one to listen and hear what's being said.

We'll be posting information about where else help is available if you need it.

October 10th is World Mental Health Day 💚

Running isn’t just good for your body - it’s one of the simplest ways to clear your head as well.
Getting outside, moving your legs, and finding a rhythm does more for your mind than you might think.
A few miles can help ease stress, lift your mood, and give you space to think.

World Mental Health Day this year the theme is Access to Services....

🧠 Today is World Mental Health Day — a global reminder that mental health is not a luxury, it’s a necessity. This year’s theme, “Access to Services: Mental Health in Catastrophes and Emergencies,” calls attention to the invisible toll of crises — from natural disasters to conflict zones — where emotional wounds often outlast physical ones. In times of upheaval, mental health support must be part of the first response, not an afterthought.

One in five people affected by emergencies may develop serious mental health conditions, yet services are often disrupted or inaccessible. We must advocate for systems that prioritize psychological first aid, tele-mental health, and community-based care — especially for vulnerable groups like children, the elderly, and displaced individuals.

Let’s use today to raise awareness, reduce stigma, and push for inclusive, resilient mental health services that reach people when they need it most. Because healing minds is just as vital as rebuilding lives.
