Hi, I'm Em, I offer counselling and psychotherapy in Marple, Great Moor and online. I'm a member of the BACP, have an BSc in Psychology and a Post Graduate Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy, with significant experience working in the Mental Health sector in the NHS and education settings.

Therapy with me is a collaborative space where you’re met with warmth and without judgement. We’ll explore what matters to you, look at how past experiences may still be shaping things today, and find practical ways to manage emotions and explore unhelpful patterns. Along the way, we’ll also work on easing self-criticism and building a kinder, more compassionate relationship with yourself.

A day at The Monastery Manchester is never boring. I was interviewed live on BBC Radio Manchester about the mindfulness classes I’ve been running there and ‘Mind, Body and Soul Sunday’.
