REGISTERED HOME MANAGER – STOKE HOUSE, NOTTINGHAM
Careport are looking to recruit an experienced and dynamic Home Manager for our Care Home in Nottinghamshire
Stoke House is a 41 bedded Nursing and Residential Home which offers first class facilities and accommodation, allowing residents to feel welcome, relaxed and secure whilst also enjoying an active and independent lifestyle.
You must have extensive care home management experience; and a nursing qualification is preferred. The person we are looking for will have strong leadership qualities, effective communication and interpersonal skills, which are essential for developing an overall nurturing approach and to build good relationships with people living and working in the home, relatives, outside agencies and professionals.
Job Role
• To take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the home including management of the staff team as the Registered Manager.
• To promote and ensure a caring environment for Service Users through high standards of quality and professional practice, which are conducive to the physical, emotional, social, intellectual, and spiritual needs of Service Users.
• To ensure that each Service User receives care appropriate to their individual needs which
should be well documented for all to easily interpret.
• To manage and ensure compliance with the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2010, and the Care Quality Commission (Registration) Regulations 2009 and any previous applicable legislation. To also work with any guidance received by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and any other official stakeholder bodies.
